  5. ^ lol. First rule about Hokimoto Street Racing Corp...dont believe it
  6. GL with the case mate, get a win and print the name.
  7. "didnt realise he was doing anything wrong" wha? Sounds like someone needs retraining...no cheap maccas for you this month sonny Jim! Serously; it will be a note in his record so it will/could effect his promotion for a few years and he'll probably go back on general duies until he has served his penance. So his loss is probably greater than a civilians loss for the same offence (on a public road) in the long run.
  8. Your lawyer wouldnt of taken your case on if you'd had a previous conviction? So you dont need to be innocent or rich ....just a clean skin, thats an odd . If I need a lawyer I think i'll try the yellow pages. I thought that each case was tried on its merits without reference to prior convictions. Only at sentencing are previous bad acts discussed.
  9. "virtually" ready to race....actually overpriced
  10. Taking a pic...pffft one frame does not a case make. Fight the powa
  11. Looks like someone is learning photoshop. Although i'm guessing that the rear is low because its full of the boys outta those VLs
  12. These cars were a well put together picec of kit, no pov spec deal. A well sorted one, or well cared for one will last as a daily driver. It depends on what your plans are for the GT-R, if budget is your concern then modifying one is probably not a great idea. I'd go a V-spec for the steel wheel turbs, no mods and then you'd have an enjoyable GT that would maintain alot of its value.
  13. +1. I have 2860-5's on mine and the Apexi intakes. Great induction sound... though not as sik as a dose pipe I guess
  14. I came across this link on a U.K. site. Lists wheels by Name, Weight, Size and it's in excel http://www.wheelweights.net/
  15. Margarita FTW You'll need a good blender, one that chops the ice then a setting for a quick ice polish at the end Lotsa ice 2 parts Jose Curevo 2 Parts Maragarita mix 1 Part Triple sec or any orange flavoured squabble 30 seconds on chop and 20 seconds on a high speed We make um with a 90ml measure and and serve in a pint glass lol. And remember...salt is for tourists
  16. MLCrisis...your hektic opening remarks certainly sum up the attitude of some people and proved entertaining, luckily most of those people don’t seem to frequent these boards...(a few txt style errors would have added the icing to the fully sik cake) However I think its important to remember and appreciate that not all of us have acquired the wisdom of age. Young people by their very nature are immature and make mistakes. I do not support the concept of street racing and sadly I have lost more than one friend to reckless road behaviour. But Life is a journey and for some of us that journey involves learning the hard way and tragically that wisdom sometimes comes at the expense of other peoples well being. I dont agree that the tenor of this thread is "at least justification" I think if you take the time to read some of the "boo who I lost my licence" threads you would see a fair amount of guidence meated out in response. I support your position that one of the aims of these forums is to promote responsible driving but I don’t believe that the people posting here are endorsing reckless behaviour, more likely the posts in this thread represent the bravado and machismo that characterises the aussie bloke, a bit of internet style "get um out, lets measure" type of behaviour if you will. The changing of attitudes takes along time and from what I’ve observed on SAUWA I can say that young people are becoming more responsible. The numbers of people that attend SAUWA driver training days is testament to that. In fact I would like to thanks all those who have organised the driver training activities, especially Brad-onya mate! I'm saddened that you are "...not particularly bothered if you want to go out and kill yourself..." If we fail to pass on the knowledge we are part of the problem....but I don’t buy it, you took the time to post your position on the subject. So good onya for caring. Now if only politicians took that kind of time we might have a solution to the death toll that doesn’t involve crushing cars and alienating our youth. As far as your assertion that "we" will become a victim of tabloid TV, I think as long as there are lazy politicians with a taste for scaring the middle class voter and even lazier segment producers with a slot to fill we will always be victims of some opportunist attack. PS- the Bunbury Police are truly legendary for the gusto in prosecuting the law-even when I was a kid. Cheers
  17. I had someone leave seafood on the hood of my car once...yes I thought it was kinda odd too
  18. You should be able to get a few noobs going with that one.." yeah it's a special spec. Euro V-Spec...spec" lol. Any ideas on pad availability and cost?
  19. Dashmiester-got a deal through a friend, front mount with a relocation kit. I know this is sort off topic but oil cooler/pump threads seem to have at least one tale of disaster that we can all learn from..unfortunately at someone elses expense. I would'nt build an engine without an accusump
  20. Does the postie has a mullet?
  21. $200.....Now thats some expensive fries.
  22. Hey all I though the competition for the Forum banner went really well and the winner was a good choice. Is it time to update to the R35 via the same mechanism?
  23. Surely there is a generic rubber section that can be used...I hope.
  24. Nah..thats a special pleasure reserved for me. But I might get Stu to bring it down and see if we can take a bit of the bump stops
