  1. I regret I cannot vote on the grounds that I may incriminate myself. Suffice to say that when your in court wear a suit and be respectful and ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure the charge read is the right charge.
  2. The Defi does look more road than track, but if your going to drive on the street thats not a bad thing. The Defi it has high beam low beam and indicators as opposed to the XML and the Stack so I suspect running one of those units without fitting indicators etc is a "defect". Installing the lights in the dash surround will require a bit of futsing about but not a big problem. The XML pista looks like the best value
  3. Ordered one for my 32R. Trust
  4. and as usual I'm in Africa...how about one after Christmas Brad.
  5. 2,800 ouch. But if you add up the cost it's probaly a nice christmas present + comprehensive array of guage$ you wont need + getting rid of the cluter + hard corey feel = reasonable value does it have a beautiful opening ceremony lol?
  6. I havent seen that on the Defi site, has it been released yet Richard?
  7. Here we go again, first siezing now crushing. There is no equity in this law. Penalties must be uniform, if they were'nt the judicioury would be free to hand down a life sentence for shoplifting; wait until someone with 150K wrapped up in a ride gets this penalty This is yet another case of political interference in the process with aim of winning a few votes from a scared ignorant middle class and saving a few bucks. The use of these hoon laws tells me that governments has given up on young people and are more interested in headlines than controlling the death toll. The idea of "breaking" or "humiliating" someone is draconian and punitive; it achieves nothing but gaining headlines and creating an under class of young men with a desereved hatred of the law and the unfortunate men and women who prosecute it. Lazy and weak government.
  8. Nice work Dan...are you stalking East Perth Station theses days? lol I dont get it though; they're slower than the nonsense they drive at the mo, not much room in the back for WC Eagles and i would imagine they're a little more fragile under the sort of conditions required for ops.
  9. I've run Redline in my 32R since I bought it, both engine and g/box approx 12,000K, my R makes 430 RWHP on the original build. I dont do anywhere near as much motorsport as Troy-a few drag meets here and there and the ususal spirtied driving I suppose, but when I changed over I immediately noticed the g/box felt firmer in the shifts and to date my oil pressure is still the same. Not sure about Redline not recommending g/box oil for synchros but I wrote to Redline and recieved written recommendations, though i'm going to check out the site again though just to be sure. As for Motorsport, Redline has a long tradition of providing lubricants to many teams in American motorsports. As an example, next time the NHRA fuellers or floppers are on check out who sponsors them. Sure Team Force is Castrol but look at the rest. Having said that, what's on the wing or container isnt always what's in the container - it may for example say Fuchs but it might be Redline In the end its whatever your comfortable with and what your pocket can afford.
  10. Seems he's a 300zx fan..precious little detail on the 32, but the 390, the mid4 and the LM 33 are interesting...Noddies fire truck FTW though
  11. hehehe On a serious note...If the W.A. government want to lower crime they need visual deterrents, having the blue gang charging around in blinged XR6T's enticing people to race is a poor use of resources but its a good vote getter..." I don’t like the look of those (insert fringe or disenfranchised demographic here)". On the issue of enticement, I wonder what the medias reaction will be when one of those "high powered pursuit cars" is involved in a fatal during a "sting operation" and the story is aired. The Police have been held to task when previous transgressions of vehicle usage policies take place, i.e. drunk driving off duty in a plain car, off duty vehicle collisions and failure to disengage from high speed pursuits have all resulted in disciplinary action of varying degrees but little in the way of policy change.
  12. way to fight the powa. Congrats
  13. Thats 9 seconds I will never get back
  14. It depends on what you want out of your 33. do you want a stripped out racer or something nice to cruise in. For me its always a battle between the two. I have my sub box on velcro so when I go to the track I can rip it out. I havent noticed much change in the way my 32 GT-R drives with two amps, a role of deadening, and the 2 subs-mind you my R has plenty of power and a good suspension set up. But if your really worried, weigh you kit and find some lightweight seats to make up the difference
  15. I'll wait for the Challenger...if it gets here and its a right hooker
  16. Maybe as your running "eleventy billion rwkw@3psi" (lol) you need to be looking at more robust internals. Dont know if the OSG kit will work in that transmission but its on the list of upgrades for my 32R.
  17. Cheers...I guess if its a standard size there shouldnt be a drama..just a matter of finding the right one.
  18. Onya man...just takes some practice, embarrassment and window tinting lol
  19. +1 Sorry to hear the news. Jealous arsehats!
  20. Damn Mitchy! That was a big hit; GL with the new ride...no matter what it is
  21. Hey all I finally got my system installed in my 32R and I'm not happy with the way the CD-7000 is positioned. It sits proud of the console with a small gap around the edge the and comes pretty close to the edge of the console surround. My installer tells me that there is no fascia available and I ran out time before it was time to fly back to work. I'm confident the installer will get it right but I was hoping to get a few ideas on the alternatives. BTW with the MB Q's, the subs and that HU...man it sounds the business
  22. It's depressing to think about how much i've spent...whats more its a dangerous thing to do especially if your GF/Wife reads this stuff
  23. Here ya go mate http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t1...&hl=tinting http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t9...;hl=window+tint
