  1. TKO it is, forgot to ask about the Skylines...he does have a number of "lines" on his site though. Seems clued in.
  2. I'm looking for a good window tinter...any ideas.
  3. I'm planning on buying a Trust /Greddy oil cooler with relocation kit. It looks like i'm limited to the 13 row cooler as it designed to fit in the fender. The 16 and 22 row are listed as "subframe" kits...horizontal under the car I suppose. Assume the following: R32 GT-R original build, 430RWHP, dragged only occasionaly, I'm going to try a bit of MC and track day next year, I plan on rebuilding the combo for 500+RWHP in the future...18 months and I live in Perth...warm yes! The questions are... Will a 13 row be sufficient for my needs? Can I fit the 16 or even a 22 row in the fender space? If not will it be worth the effort of mounting the cooler in the "subframe" for what I assume is a less efficent heat transfer and a position that is suseptable to damage. 13 Row Fender Mount NS1310G R/Inner fender Size L299×H185.4×W50 16 Row Subframe Mount NS1610G B/Sub Member Size L299×H233.2×W50 22 Row Subframe Mount NS1610G B/Sub Member Size L299×H319×W50 Thanks

Toll Ipec brought my suspension from the East. Couldnt be at home for the delivery but I picked up from the depot no probs.
  8. Did you visit goondiwindi grey statue LOL..watch out for those floodways. Next stop Broken Hill
  9. Sorry I'm late ppl but... Next The Chevy badge deal is an option available to Au buyers. Essentially no one outside Au has heard of Holden so the taxis are rebadged and sent to Saudi, UAE etc. Badges...pfft. The R stands for Race as in Grand Touring-Race. If you've got a T that has a hot mill and sorted suspension put what ever badge you like on it. I dont care if some homeboy in a civic mistakes my R for a T. I bought it for me and if he want to gettem out and measure up thats fine...when the flag drops the bullsh!t stops
  10. Too easy to bend back and therefore let the unworthy inside the R
  11. If we all drove the same thing life would be a bit boring...even if it was quick
  12. couldnt agree more...Gav you left out N1 or GT block, Mechanical LSDs front and back++++ Hey P.E. Dont believe everything you read from the component suppliers...not everyone dynos on a DD in shootout mode...oh and Merry Christmas
  13. All i can say is get the trim off and have a look I think the Beer Baron picked one up for about 160..mine cost me 220 from a wrecker...its perfect. I would imagine that the OEM one would be a prohibitively expensive proposition...hey Justin when are we going to see a pic of your R with the RGII's? It may work it there isnt too much crap in them and their not too flogged
  14. Dont think it'll work but its cool anyway...I got a perfect spare
  15. O.K. I got around to having a fiddle with my windows today. The scratches are on the outside of the window and therefore wont affect any tinting you get done, so go ahead and tint those suckers up. Having typed that there is also a brush on the inside of the door that i've yet to locate in FAST..looks like another trip to the Nissan dealer Pic 1. This is the damage, vertical lines on the exterior of the glass. Pic 2. The brushes. Pic 3. The offending brush highlighted..there are two and they are a simple slide in deal. The brush on the inside is the one i've yet to track down. If yoy decide to go ahead please add to this thread so we can cobble a DIY for the rest
  16. Merry Christmas Take care and have a defect free holiday
  17. You dont see it in these pix but from the side its theDodge Viper concept car from 5 years ago...angled belt line, C pilar blown out into the rear guards... reference to the 275 GTB (1966) The Skyline looks more like a Chris Bangle Bemmer, modern as tomorrow...prefer the Ferrari personaly
  18. yeah I did a double take at he pffft bring on the technology!
  19. Well it all started...long story short AutoOne do Maguires and it comes with the lub spray. For cleaner i'm using Zymol Clear Auto Bathe although as my paint is a bit older I could try the more aggresive cleaner that Zymol produce, then the Maguires clay bar as I couldnt get a Zymol bar kit without mail ordering and I wanted to spend a few hrs over Christmas doing a thorough job, then another wash but I should be using a more agressive pre wax cleaner. For wax I'm trying out Zymol "Carbon", my R is GMG hence the choice, but you might want to try Zymol "Japan"...there are a huge variety to chose from so check out the interweb . From memory the only place you can Zymol locally is Albert in Morley...strangely enough. Zymol is pricy stuff..the one above mine was $250 then the next one above that was 400 something! Having said this it might be all crap...there are a few detailer on the boards who have their own idea and are prepared to share and debate... I'm just an amatuer.
  20. Hey! my car aint no emo LOL. Its rock n roll baby...ok a bit indy pop but definately not emo. My car had a thorough detailing by that guy in willeton whos name currently escapes me...Stefan, I think not that long ago..I'll see how i go as i dont really want cut it just yet.
  21. *in grizzled 1890 american miner voice* These young wipper snappers There is a time and a place for everything and for some people that place was the planet Earth and the time was anytime. I think it might have been the crew you were following. Most of the time the ppl I cruised with were on the limit...speed limit that is. That orange 32 did look the biz
  22. It all helps....more flow. the Trust combo front/dump have a good rep. Tell me its had it timing belt changed
  23. Not yet...tomorrow morning when the moon is still high I shall anoint the R with my Zymol shampoo then loving massage the clay bar about its lithe form...then repeat. Once the body is cleansed and free from blemishes only then shall I release the awsome-a-powa of the zymol cannuuuuuuba wax. Should take about 3hrs.
  24. *Waits for the Beer Baron to trot out the HKS turbo doggma *
  25. yeah thats the stuff...change turbs but that depends on your HP target maybe go some garrett 2860R-5/2530's Add some adjustable cam gears for tuning it in...cheap way of making the most of what your getting. Definately get the EBC and add some pods, I'd change the fuel pump for security and a bit of headroom. Throw in some bigger injectors and your away. Check the RB dyno thread. I have the SK GB suspension dealy a couple of extras and it is worth the investment
