I've worked in Africa a bit and they are pretty bad I guess I just expect more from Perth drivers given the level of training

Perth has the worst drivers in the known universe. There should be a blitz on keeping left and not acting like an arse hat. Keep left, be courteous. Yes, this does have a PR component to it but statistically there were a higher number of fatal during the Christmas period. It would be nice if all the money the gubernment made from their speed cameras went to road safety, training, road maintenance and creation...and not that clown Dorrington. I've seen this a few times, new engine = new speedo. Fair enough, it's god to track the engine Km's but it's not representative of the general wear and tear on the chassis/body and other components. A ride with 120K on the clock and a new engine is just that...a new engine in a car with 120K on the clock. Which reminds me of the story of the Blower Bentley that over the years had every component changed including the body and chassis. Was it the same car?...but we'll leave that for another conversation. I can hear dose in my neighbourhood wtf!

I participated in a double skin pan event organised earlier this year. The technical aspects are the same as the single skid pan but there is the added fun of higher terminal speeds. So for the guys with bigger turbos this event will provide an opportunity to stretch their legs. In short, I hate you guys for going there without me...that is all

I know there is a recipe to get the 'lines to work but I hardly ever see the oil cooler in the mix. In Perth I would say it's as good as manditory for a modded 'line

As for the pros and cons, the use of cam gears is part of the whole upgrade. They provide the Tuner with more scope for adjustment of the separation or overlap of the cams for better response or out right power.
