Skyline Alternatives: Which Car Would You Buy?
RRR32_GoDzIlLa replied to jmac's topic in General Automotive Discussion
series 8 would definately be the way to go even though whenever me and my girlfriend see one she thinks its one of those hyanai coupes -
if your car was turbo i would say that u should be able to get more but NA you should definately be getting more, probably should be closer to 450. Definately get it checked out by an EFI diagnostic center.

when i bought my car it didnt have a cat. not a cat with a pipe thru it, just a pipe. i havent bothered changing it, if a cop says wheres the cat, i'll just say what's a cat. Surely they can't give me a fine if i bought it like that and say i don't know what one is??? can they??

What To Do.....buy A Built 400awkw Gtr
RRR32_GoDzIlLa replied to Veilside R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i'll prob go the worked one but how worked is it?? I mean is it a reliable 400awkw or can you only run that on the dyno and its 300kw the rest of the time or stuff will break?? What gear box does it have?? What clutch does it have?? Internally what has been done?? forgies??? cams?? etc... A power figure isn't really enough to go on is what i'm saying. I'm sure there is plenty of gtr's with dyno reads that say there 400kw but doesn't mean your not going to have to spend big money to keep it there. -
Got Pulled Over While On Suspension
RRR32_GoDzIlLa replied to BLACKR's topic in General Automotive Discussion
my good mate just recently got caught driving to work while he was on a 3 month suspension. He went to caught saying that he really needed to get to work as he missed the bus etc... and expected to get a 6month suspension at the worse and the dumb f**k qld judge gave him TWO f**kING YEARS on suspension!!! so my balls would be in my throat if i was you. no jail but not having a licence sor two yrs is nearly as bad, lol -

R34 Gtt With Serious Power?
RRR32_GoDzIlLa replied to RRR32_GoDzIlLa's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just checking to see if it would be a viable option, guess not. Well i want more power and a newer car as well. I like r34's but i don't think i would be happy with spending shit loads of cash and only getting to 400hp, which is not much more than what i have now. i guess i can't have a newer car and more power. one or the other then. maybe sell the gtst and spend it all on the gtr but i probably wont eva see that money again -
Howdy r34 owners, i'm wanting to sell my cars for a newer skyline. I'm thinking of skipping the 33 and go straight for a 34 but obviously cant afford the gtr but i wouldnt buy a gtt unless i could get it up to about 500-600hp. and afford too as well. Obviously any car can get that power figure with the right amount of money. After purchasing the 34 i'd prob have about 10k to put into the engine. Just wondering if there is anyone out there getting this kind of power from there r34 and how hard it was. Otherwise i'll just wait a couple of years and buy a 34gtr. Am just hoping there is someone out there who has done this and can give me a ball park figure. Or if you haven't necessariy done this but have the know how and could shed some light. thankyou

Police Powers And Your Rights
RRR32_GoDzIlLa replied to Johnny Cash's topic in General Automotive Discussion
From my experience with cops, YOU HAVE RIGHTS BUT IT DOESNT MATTER!!!. Cops can do whatever they want!! in the end it doesn't matter what rights you have police can and will get away with anything. They will lie if they have too. zxfire, my mates had the same drama, cops dont give a shit bout stolen cars, evidence or not. sorry dude i'd just like to say that i've found that 95% of cops are f**k wits, straight up. But ya can't say they all are cuz every now and again ya get one that isn't jaded or on a power trip and actually became a cop to help people and not becuz they got picked on in school. If your car has something done to it that is not standard police can defect you for it unless that modifaction has been proven by ra ra ra ra ra (something that will cost heaps and no one has done) and it doesn't matter if it is dotars approved cuz police have there own rules. which are, everything is illegal, probably even cup holders. -
I just want my car to be faster than my mates cars, oh and because i've heard that if your car has more power it means that you have a bigger penis.
-
yeah, my gtst is my runabout but i'll probably sell it soon and get something that doesn't chew so much fuel. maybe you should get a non-turbo 33 or 34, if it's going to be ur second car???
-
i'll just say. having a 32 gtr and gtst, i can tell you it is very hard to get decent power out of a 32 gtst. if your happy with 200 kw at the wheels go the gtst, if you are going to want more than that don't buy one. If you still want a 32 but going to fill it with 33 bits to get more power y not just buy a 33??????

supposed to be nismo. i also have a c's shifter in my gtst which is good. the length of throw on the gtr is the same as standard and the part looks identical to standard. It in no way could be considered a short shifter. i also got a mates stock gtr shifter to rule out the possibility that it already had a nismo short shifter installled when i bought the car and the standard throw on gtrs just happened to be the same as a mack truck and the nismo shifter made it closer to normal.
-
obviously they wouldn't make one the same as stock, obviously they sent me the wrong one
-
it took nengun like 2 months to send my pfc and short shift, which i've already had a winge about on another forum becuz they didnt send me a short shifter. the one they sent had the same throw as the standard and they wouldnt give me a refund. they are shit and i wasted a lot of time and money with them.
-
i had a go at em and sent em plenty of e mails and they said - Apologies for the delayed response. The unit shipped to you is the Nismo product number 32839-RN595. This is as provided by Nismo sold on the domestic market here in Japan. The product information reports a 30% shorter throw than the standard shifter. As agreed to on the website when placing your order, we encourage you to confirm all product details with your mechanic/tuner before purchase. Thanks, Alan
-
ahhhrggg!!! the throw the throw the throw of the shifter. the length of the throw. the throw is not shorter
-
yes that is what i meant. there is no difference in the length between gears. it is a nismo, apparently. i did fit it and take it back off again
-
i ordered a power fc and a short shift kit and i didnt pay any tax. it took a few weeks and i didnt get a short shift, i got a replacement shifter. was no shorter than the stock one, we compared it to mine and my mates gtr as well. Nengun pretty much told me to get stuffed so i haven't bought any more stuff from them. The power fc was good tho and only like $900. so with the money i wasted on the shifter i could have bought the pfc in a shop here and had it right away.
