  3. Hi all, I either have a AFM circuitry blown somewhere, either the AFM itself or worse, in the ECu!!!! Does anyone know any places in Sydney? that fix these kinds of things? car is skyline R33, thanks, darrien
  4. i fink i will bring it down, because at the moment, i cant think of what i did wrong! i need another opinion! i read the instruction very carefully and done it carefully! the only thing i can think off is, I the turtorial section: they have ECU pin layout different from the Apexi ecu layout. They ground wire in the turtorial is PIN 60, where as the ground in the APEXI website is pin 26 (next to air flow signal). Initialy i wire it to the wire #60, but then i change it to wire #26. but problem still there!

Hi all, I installed my SAFC, but ran into some problem, as described, Idling is weird, and when i accelerate, its feels like its hesistate, and can NEVER rev pass 2500RPM. smoke in the exhaust alot as well. I did ECU diagnose, and got code 12: AFM circuit I am not sure if i blown the afm circuit or the inside the ECU, anyone know how can i get it fix? or any place in Sydney? i can take them to? thanks heaps! darrien

  8. That sux to hear, But regarding the police. They really couldnt be bothered, I was amazed that they sent a forensic and tested DNA. As my car was stolen 5 months ago, even got a surveilance tape showed the person who got in my car and drove off, still they didnt do anything. Luckily i found my car, just TODAY, because it parked in some apartment carparks and weeds grow all over it, and some resident reported to the police, then i was contacted. and Got my car back! well, best of luck stan!
  9. just incase if it was just a simple AFM disconected? how do i fix it? do i just check for connections? first i thought maybe the bullet conectors, but i test for continouity with the meter, and it is. where to start to find out the problem... any helps please? thanks,

How do i find out is my AFM blown or the circuitry in the ecu is blown? - yea, i disconnected the battery b4 wire it up. - i insulated them, soldered them as well, - and yes i am know abit about electronics, i work with them all day. telecommunications equipments. but for automotive, am only know basic. how do i go about fixing it? worse case scenario? if I blown the ecu afm circuit, wat should i do?
  11. could i have done something wrong? I panic when i saw APEXI website, that they have the ECU pin layout, GROUND is next to AFM Signal wire. I hope i didnt fried anything, just bad ground maybe. but yea, its weird that 2 ECU layout are different! I will re check again!
  12. Hi, PLEASE HELP!!! Big Problem I ran into while installing SAFC! I followed PREDATOR's Instructions on the TURTORIAL section. Predator got the Ground wire next to the Power Ignition wire, but in the Apexi ECU pin layout, the Ground wire is next to the Air FLow Signal wire. Does it matter about the difference? Now i have got a problem. the idle is rough, smoke come out heaps in the exhaust. and cant rev pass 2500rpm! i tried to remove the SAFC wires to stock as b4, but still does same thing. I did ECU diagnose and got CODE 12: AIR FLOW METER CIRCUIT, so now, how can i fix the problem? isit the ECU faulty? what are my options at go about fixing the CODE 12? please help!   18. my mod is similar to urs, tho i dun have a FMIC, I got R34 intercooler, and split dump pipe, I got 196kw, with AFR 11. at 10 PSI Dyno varies but cant be that much different. get ur 1 check, something isnt rite. compression check maybe??? GL
  19. I think you need a FM frequency expander, about 25 bucks from electronic store, that convert the Japan bandwith to australia 1.
  20. NOT NORMAL!!! if u set at 10psi and it spike to 15-20 psi! OMG did u disconeccted the stock selonoid? or u hooked them up wrong way around? happened to me, i keep geting max boost, spike 15-20psi! turn out i have to remove the stock selonoid!
