Speed wire??? color? any one know???

I would love a 300zx, I got a 300zx b4, but that got stolen, now i got a R33, gtst which is not as dream to drive like 300zx, The handling in 300zx, and the Torque just outstand the rest. But yea, 300zx cost more to maintain, If ur still young, i reckon u should go for R32, or something cheap, coz u dun wana spend too much on maintaining. 300zx do have cramp engine bay, since i have it for 2 yrs, I have never have any problem with the engine, only top radiator hose broken and its like 5 mins task, the rest, just normal services. But R33, cant go past that back seats, I can fit 5 ppl in there?? LOL...gosh, never seen such a huge sport car.

Yea, I got wat i paid for, hehe, But no more, I rather get something Good quality for me car, just hate it when u spend money on it and it stuff up more, just not FUNNY. Some on ebay are pretty GOOD, I got my clutch there and other parts, from USA and it works great, cheap. once in a while u get done by them i guess,

I would personally stay clear from MOnsta Performance on EBAY, Just a bad experience thats alll, Bought a SHORT shifter for my car, when fitted, it wasnt short, same size as the factory and when fitted, its 5 times harder to put in gear, Now i got a left hand bigger then me right hand. LOL Cheers,

Expect to pay anywhere b/w $14000-$18000 But 94-95 model i fink for low Kms manual, u gota look around $14000-$16000, if u a patient shopper, u might find 1 for around $13000, just Lucks and patient i guess, But if u want 96' - 97' that is series 2, i gona cost bit more, $17000 and up. I got mine, 95' 56000kms, manual, stockist u can get, for $14000, and i fink i got it bargain. Hopes it helps, cheers,

Hi, I recently installed a Greddy Turbo Timer onto my R33, by an audio specialist (dumb). He wired everything except for the Speed wire which is the Purple Wire on the Turbo Timer, So the Functions of Speedo, Tachometer, and the Auto timer wont work, I wan to ask if any one know which color is the SPEED wire from the ECU Loom? and If any one have done it b4? Plz give me advices on how to aproach it and how to wire it correctly. Thanks, darrien

I duno the other answer to ur questions but, i know that u can pick up a decent stock r33 for around 15 mark. I got mine for 95' 14k, 5600kms, fully stockies. Just gota look out for a bargain. Cheers,

The noise still there intermiitently, very annoying. anywaiz, i think i should bring to it a skyline specilist or something to get it check up! Does any one know a mechanic in SYdney? Western Suburn area that know a great deal bout Skyline? and one more thing, I duno where the battery of my car lies? Checked every where, 100% sure it wasnt in the engine bay, nor the boot. Hi ppl, I just purchased my R33, (yesterday). 95'. Everything seem fine, but there this noise from the engine, sound like belt tension, something like that, and when at cold idle, or the air con is on, the car is runing rough, up and down crazy, Engine Shakes as well. Car idle at around 650, but if give bit of gas to about 800rpm the noise went away and its all smooth. Brought it to a mechanic, he suspect its a vacumm leaks, we checked and narrow it down. The Vacumm hose from the air inlet connect to the pollution can, everytime I block it off, the engine runing smooth, no noise. But if i let that vacumm hose free, the noise come back and idle rough. We check for that hose leakages, but seem fine. Could it be the Polution can itself? or wat other problem caused it? and wat does the pollution can do???? Is it OK for me to close that vacum hose off and drive it for the mean time? will ti do any damage? Thanks, Darrien P.S. Sorry for a long post
