  1. These rims have to go. Accepting offers guys. Jon
  2. Interested. Can you please answer a few question......Do you have a link to pictures? When was the supercharger installed? Who installed the supercharger? Has the car been dynoed? Thanks, Jon
  3. Hi, I got a set of rims for sale. It came off my wife's RX7. We don't need it anymore because we got another set of rims that we prefer. Details of the rims Make: Wise Made in Japan 3 piece Rims Polished lip on the front and a bit of dish in the rear Model: Super Wade Spoke Website: http://www.wisesports.co.jp/main.html Dimensions: Front: 17 x 8 Offsets: + 42 Rear: 17 x 9 Offsets: + 35 5x114.3 Condition: Condition is generally good. A bit of gutter damage. Tyres: Tyres look alright, not sure how much thread is left, but I would guess about 50% to 60% Tyre size: Front: 235 45 R17 Rear: 255 40 R17 Pictures: Contact: 0412 005 791 Location: Eastern suburbs of Melbourne PRICE REDUCED: $800 Thanks, Jon
  4. I forgot to mention that I was in Victoria so we do not have to pay $1,000 for rego. But we do have to pay for stamp duty. The price I quoted includes tyres and inland/interstate transport. Another $2k and it will be the drive away price. There are some bargains at Auction and sometimes it really depends how dedicated the agent is in located and hounding one for you. It does help if you know the agent. Buying from dealers will probably get you the best cars, but also the most expensive. I was quoted a V35 premium 350GT for about $35k landed and complied with maximum 40,000km with a minimum auction grade of 4. However, you are absolutely right. Not much point in getting a 2 year old car in poor condition. Banks in general will sell at 1.5yen below the nornal rate. I was told by my in-laws that the Japanese yen will probably rise in the second half of this year. Not sure how accurate that would be, but my father in-law is working in that line of bussiness that requires this kind of knowledge. FOB 2.4 million yen or AU$24,490 Landed: AUD$6,600 (Customs, tax sea freight etc0 Compliance: AUD$4,500 Tyres:$1,000 On road cost: $2,000 Total $38,590 So you are right, about $40k on the road based on your FOB. But I was informed that I could get what I am looking for for 2.2million yen, so drop the price by another $2k at least. So it would be possible to get one for $35k to $36k landed and complied and even drive away. And I agree, the MY07 Liberty GT is a fine car. There are quite offers available at the moment. Seen a few for as low as $53k drive away. Pretty good value IMO. Jon
  5. I am interested but it is now possible to get them landed and complied in Australia for as little as $35k to $37k for a premium 350GT. There was one on sale recently with 3,189km that went for about that price. Its good that the Aussie dollar is so strong. Buyers market. Jon
  6. Hi, As the topic states, I am after a set of USED rims for the follwoing make and models. 1. Gramslight 57 (Prefer 57 Pro) 2. Volk GT-C (Prefer gold centre, polished lip) 3. Work Meister (Prefer black or silver centre, polished lip) Sizes I am after, Front: 17" x 8"/8.5" Rear: 17" x 8.5"/9.0" The rims are intended for a RX7 FD, which has very positive offsets, so I would like offsets from +35 to +50 depending on the width of the rim. 10. Hi, We have decided to sell our much loved 180sx. Had a major service done when it first arrived in Australia last year, November 2005. The engine is going strong and we have had no problems with it, ever!! Compression test done last year showed equal compression on all 4 cyclinders. The car is raised to stock height, but you have the option of dropping it a little with currently installed height adjustable coilovers. The paint job is 4 months new in high solid black, making it one of the best looking black 180sx around. We have never had problems with the police with the car. Never been pulled over before. The car has never run anything more than stock boost throughout the time we have owned the car. The car is seldom driven, only on the occasional weekend when the weather is good. Always garaged. Currently insured with Shannons for an agreed value for $18,500. Insurance premium is $997 a year. Excess is $500. Abit about the owners: We are matured owners, both working professionals. My Mrs is a Vet and I am a scientist. We do not thrash the car. Car is always treated with respect and well taken car of. We want to sell because se feel this car is not suitable for us. 11. Be strong Yaz. You seem to be doing well for someone who has been through such an ordeal. I would not be able to do better. Take care. Jon ps: Maybe you should not worry about getting the next car but concentrate on completing your yr 12. Get over that hurdle and you will be almost there.
  12. She is very young and taking the lost of her boyfriend quite badly. From the few words she wrote, she does not appear to be very forgiving and I get the impression that she thinks the Skylines are the ones at fault. She is also having a hard time with her now deceasesd BF's family. They seem to be blaming her for the accident and loss of their son. I am sad that there was a death involved in the accident, but its great to know that the other driver, Drew I think is his name is well and fully recovered. IThe accident could have been much worst if the other Skylines were driving close to each other. Good reason not to tailgate. Jon
  13. I don't have a Skyline, but I have a 180sx, which is probably driven 2 to 3 times a month. I is more of a fun car and not really practical nor safe on the road. We got a daily to get to and from work. If I had a R33 or R34, I wold probably drive it more often. The build quality of Skylines are alot better. Another thing I have found is that because I don't drive the 180 around very often, I tend to enjoy the drive more in what would otherwise be a very uncomfortable car, especially on rough Aussie roads. This is our 180sx, which we imported in October last year. Since then, we have done a few things to improve its appearance and handling.
  16. PM sent regarding front disk Thanks, Jon
  17. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has a spare R33 front disk rotor. Does not have to be in good condition but must not be warped. The reason I need it is because I want to do a trial fit on my 180sx before I decide to buy DBA ones. Just need to know if the rotors will help me clear my rims. Currently using R32gtst calipers, but I reckon they should still fit, hence the trial. Pls PM me or call me at 0412005791. I only need a rotor, but may buy 2 if the price is right. Cheers, Jon
  18. HPC can organise couriers to pick up stuff from your home, send it to Leongatha and send it back to your doorstep. I sent a 4 calipers there and back, cost me I think $30 to $40 max. They do good work and very professonal. Jon
  19. Centerline Suspension is suppose to be good. They are located in Thomastown. Jon
  20. I have a set of ront R32gtst rotors (280x30mm) you can use. Not needed anyway. Just PM me or you can call me on 0412005791 Jon
  21. Hi there, I am looking for R32gtst or z32 TT rear calipers. Would prefer Melbourne pickup. I only need the calipers. Pls contact me via PM or call me on 0412005791. Thanks Jon
  22. That brings me to net question. I was wondering where I can get these cars complianced. I remember there was a website on Dotars which gives infomation on where compliance workshops, but I could not find it again. It was bookmarked but lost it now. Well, at least getting replacement parts will not be a problem since the 350z and V35s share alot of parts. No doubt Nissan will charge alot for them though. Jon
  23. We were looking for a manual one, but before commiting ourselves to a purchase, we wanted to find out more about the car. it is not a very popular car compared to the R34s. I guess it is kind of an expensive car to modify. I think APS has a force induction kit for it. Probably cost an arm and a leg though. Jon
  24. Was it bad? Seems that alot of vandals are inspired by jealousy. Jon
  25. Thanks mate. I will send them a PM. Jon
