how do i check what boost cut its been set in the ecu? (i use power fc) i know how to check what boost level i set to.... goto Setting and select Boost and u can choose setting 1,2,3 or 4 .. is this what u r talking about?

i've always thought that my car would have stock turbos which have not been high flowed but my friend raised an interesting point yesterday.. he thinks that i should try to put the boost upto 1.3, 1.4 or even 1.5 bar to see if the turbos have been high flowed or they r just stock ones... he says that if they r stock ones, the boost will just drop when been overboosted.. so no damage to the turbos or the engine... but i am wondering if i should do this or not coz i am worried about the negative damage it *might* cause... what do u think guys??

damn... sorry to hear about that.. i will keep my eyes wide open although i doubt the fu(kers would be stupid enough to still drive around northshore... haven't heard of theft case for quite some time now and this just had to happen..

how did I loosen the springs?? well, i left my car with my mechanic , came back in about 2hrs... it was all done .. too easy..~ i heard they r adjustable unit so u can adjust them anytime u want..

btw, do i have to sacrifice any kind of power lose if i loosen the springs??

loosened the springs today problem gone.. holding 1.2bar till 7350rpm very steadily (ran out of road...)

hehe... thats prolli the hardest task for all skyliners...

i didn't get the problem fixed yet coz josh (mech) is out of nsw for the weekend for his pit crew job... i am only using stock / not high flowed... will take out the actuator next week and see what the problem is... (regarding to that BANG !! its not the noise it makes but its more of jerking/shaking of the car... imaginable or am i too crap at explaining? ) will post up the result next wk..

fuel cut with power fc?? will check the injector reading on the fc commander tomorrow morning...

ever since i got HKS wastegate actuators installed at the end of last year, there seem to be a boost spike (i think it is...) no matter what boost stage i set it at (using power fc commander via boost controller option with power fc) the boost goes all the way up to 1.35bar+ and gets this MASSIVE B_A_N_G!!!!! and the car jerks forward (engine sounds like i am missing gear.. if u know what i mean.. but i am on the same gear for example if i am accelerating full on hard on 1st gear , i would hit max boost (1.2bar that i set it at ) around 4500-5000rpm and it just keeps going up and when it hits about 1.33-1.35 bar around 5500-6000rpm B-A-N-G !! r the springs in the actuators too tight? too much tension? i believe they r adjustable so i can loosen the springs and make the actuator to actually HOLD the boost at maximum boost i set it at and keep it like that till red line? and also another thing, no matter how low i set the boost , the minimum it will go is 1.1bar... and i really want low setting (like 0.9 bar or 1bar) for daily driving... any suggestions?? thank you guys/girls...

may well be brown then considering my eye sight isn't all that great...

speaking of racing stripes, i saw a yellow r33 gtst with 2 purple racing stripes right across the bonnet, roof @macquarie shopping centre.... it was damn disgusting indeed...
