Used to be a BIG fan of the skyline
nissaner replied to a topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
if i wear a hat, i wear it backwards because it suits me better... not because i want to look cool in my skyline... if i wear a collared shirt, the collar will probably be up because i like it that way... not because i want to look cool in my skyline... -

ahh... u on the "waiting list" to get ur car tuned by hitman...hahaha.. heard the list was very very long~!! i was meant to be getting my car tuned by hitman last week but it got cancelled.... (my car was also tuned by C&V last month so i am on the boat as franks... they tuned it too conservatively, my mechanic says. and i can feel it too... the R has gone too soft... ) but having a serious second thoughts on getting tuned at the moment... coz i am BROKE asssss...(paying $1396 speeding fine doesn't help ur cash flow :D )

ed : no no i didn't smell any burning rubber coz he turned left at the next lights.... maybe he was too embarrased... and i wasn't intentionally boxing in the wrx... i was just going at 60kmh and so was the van... :uh-huh: maybe that guy still has witchs hat hanging under his car and wondering what the !@#$ is the weird smell... hehe.. (about 2months ago, when i get into my camry and drive it , i would smell something burning.... like plastic or something... i found out at next service day that big plastic bag was full melted and got stuck onto the pipe...

me & my friends were heading to bondi beach this afternoon when we saw a vanilla evo5 wrx flying pass my car... we came to rest at the lights... i was like 5cars behind him and he was right behind a van ... i changed to the right lane coz my friend wanted to check out that car... so i did, and when my friend looked at that car apparently the owner was looking at us too... the light changed to green, having to pay $1396 speeding fine by tomorrow i had no intention of getting involved in street racing action... both the van and my car was going at 60kmh and we unintentionally boxed in the impatient young wrx driver... the wrx suddenly changed to the left lane.... ONLY TO FIND OUT THERE WERE WHOLE HEAP OF WITCHS HATS COZ OF THE ROAD WORK... and he actually hit one of them.. we were laughing soooooooo hard... but the funnier thing was when he finally flew past me with "style"... i think all wrx owners should try this... hehe... THE WITCHS HAT HE HIT GOT STUCK ONTO HIS EXHAUST JUST B4 THE CAT CONVERTER.... :shake: i think he will have a very hard time taking the half melted witchs hat off his hot hot exhaust.... hahahaha don't know if i should reveal the no plate...

yang!! when did u buy all those stuff u rich boy... (powerfc and all that... i expect u to smoke me next time we meet! ) i have a single plate heavy duty exeddy and i am not that happy with it... its too soft in my view... (feels even softer than the stock one for some reason) go for a 2nd hand twin... my mechanic told me a twin plate will last shorter than a single plate... why is this so ? anyone know? and boosted RB26, ive never seen a twin plate selling for 1k... might be a damaged one ?? -
i don't think its ultra-hard to maintain it (probably becoz i gave up ppl keying my car here and there but yeah, mechanically its all good...) of course it is a little more expensive to maintain my gtr compared to my camry, but at the same time i get a little more attention in my gtr... it is very very reliable, i cannot understand ppl thinking gtr would be just pain in the arse to drive in the traffic or whatever when they actually haven't even driven a gtr... hope u make a wise decision ... either way its a GTR and what more can u want? hehe
-
hehe thats why i worked my assssss off at the age of 19 (while i lived with family so no living expense) and bought my gtr when i was 20... now i am 21 and have owned my gtr for almost a year (11.5 months) and still love the "banging and crashing over bumps then hissing and backfiring all down the road"... seriously, i think its a very good deal if u r okay with a stock gtr... coz by no means a stock gtr is slow...
-
i don't think its worth it if u r going to mod it in the future anyway... BUT if i was to leave the car stock as is then i will definately swap it no cash involved... especially with that low kms...
-
i think u have the post title the other way around... shouldn't it be : S1 R33 GTR Vspec vs S2 R33 GTR anyways, do U have to pay more cash? or did THEY say they will pay more cash? i would rather have a modded series 2... than a stock s1 vspec...

what if the wrx on the topic is a brand new MY03 ?? 0-100kmh : 5.7 sec factory claimed... (heard the time was done at calder park in victoria...) my friend bought a new white MY03... looks good , feels comfotable .... handling around the corner was good too... (i didn't get to drive the thing but got a ride in it...) in my opinion, this thing will be very hard to beat if ur gtst doesn't have lotta horses under the bonnet....

dirrerences between r33 gt's
nissaner replied to KamikazeR33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
every r33 gtr ,except the black r33 gtr from dragcombat last year at willowbank... i think it was owned by a workshop IMS or something... the one that had big sticker "we don't need nos" , i have seen had only 2 outer tail lights lighting up when hit brakes... -

I COULD NEVER COME OUT CRUISING COZ I NEVER HAD MY LICENCE... hehe considering my bogging-down-off-the-line technique , i think ur 4wd might have been faster off the line... hehe:D

i found out that if i am convicted by a court, my fine will be incresed to $2200 (my friend went to rta and found a brocher stating this...) prolli not worth the time and money with my not-perfectly-clean record.... but still, do you know any lawyers specializing in these matters? thank you for ur inputs guys...
