  1. .. look in the rb20 thread. There is more then enough cars with similiar mods to get an idea.
  2. I have had no problem with heatsoak, and as i said its not laggy at all. I Put a just jap cooler on the car i found that to be laggy. It was to big for the power i was making and i was unhappy with it. So i went back to the arc cooler untill i got around to doing this install. So i have personally experienced a standard intercooler, a arc sidemount, a just jap cooler and now this. And im the happiest with the current set up. I have a photo on my phone with the front bar on i will upload it later tonight i have to run out for now. Hope this helps.
  3. I believe it would be fine for 250rwkw. It seems to flow well and to be honest the difference in response compared to my arc sidemount and this it minimal. For the money it is a great intercooler. If i can help with anything else let me know, im more then happy.
  4. Im running that exact intercooler, i made a thread about it. Just got it worked well with my car on 210rwkw. Decided not to go for more power as i am over spending money on my car. Im running a hiflow turbo, pfc, trust turbo back exhaust, split dump ect ect... Anyway its deffinately fine for 210rwkw. I made custom piping to suit. The reo bar does require cutting on a r33.. however mine had been cut by a previous owner.
  5. split dump, 3.5inch trust turbo back exhaust, single rear muffler.
  6. There are alot of benefits to having the hand controller. Most importantly you can watch your knock levels. And in the case you get bad fuel or cant get premium you can easily knock timing out of the tune across the whole rev range.
  7. Will vary on your fuel pressure once you start pushing 200+
  8. arc side mount supported 210rwkw on my car. Was a great little intercooler.
  9. by pass the solenoid with a basic bleed valve and keep the valve completely shut. It will then run the full boost off the actuator which is 7psi instead of 4 psi then 7. That wont cause any issues on a standard ecu and will give you a bit better down low power. But make sure the solenoid is bypassed completely or the boost will spike.
  10. Exactly, uve just in basic form described a hiflow turbo, so yes deffinately more power to be had. However it would be advisable to simply use a well known hiflow such as sliding or gcg.
  11. Wont make any difference if you change to a pod. Infact if you dont put a heat shield over it with cai it will go backwards in performance. But to answer your question no you wont need a retune.
  12. Safc2 will be fine untill you get a full computer.
  13. A huge amount of work.. youd be better off buying a GTR. Would be cheaper in the long run
  14. Great site mate, interesting read.
  15. What the hell are you talking about mate? LOL... the exhaust will IS ceramic. Thats why its a ceramic turbo...
  16. Tell me what does this full engine rebuild consist of?
  17. not poor c**t at all.. Stupid c**t would be the right one.
  18. anyone here realise this thread is from 06? lol
  19. sounds to me like you either have very large turbos on the car.. or you need to get it tuned desperately... Hell its probably both.
  20. this question has been covered alot of times search the forums you will find alot of information. For street cars it wont make much difference between bar and fin and tube and fin. As for a trust intercooler that is going to be better quality then a china copy. Depends how much power your after...
  21. The maps are saved on the ecu itself not the handcontroller.
  22. shit mate 6 grand in second!? you must have thought that the GTR had a pig of a turbo set up for a standard donk...
  23. theres atleast truth at the end of that report.
  24. No deffinately not standard.
  25. I installed one of these on my whipper snipper. Increased torque and power across the whole rev range, it can now cut through the thickest weeds. Also it blows more smoke then ever!
