Terrible! haha they combined MX5s within TT so we had 38 cars in the field. was being blocked by a Monaro HQ and just kept running wide, shutting the door on me. made a move at fish hook, got up to his b piller, he just turned right in, I backed off but no where to go and we hit. wasnt happy. race officials gave him a warning which was good. then last race was our Mx5 only race. managed a PB of 1.11.81 however got too cocky chasing next position and lost it up top of hill and lost spots and finished last!! haha

Got the mx5 down to 1.11.81 on Sunday.

OP - not defending nrma but what does your PDS say about claims and excesses? Does it say if you can identify the third party and provide them with their rego, address, name and number they'll waive the excess? Unfortunately every company when a third party cannot be recovered from will charge an excess. Sure you may not be at fault in come cases but that's how goes. Same if skippy jumps out in front of you. Excess to e paid. Why? Insurance company cannot recover from a dead animal. Were you on a market value policy? Spewing though it took them for ever to make a decision etc If you aren't happy there is always the IDR process then if that doesn't work, financial insurance ombudsman

The farm is great. It's more a road than track. Sometimes track school have driver courses up there (not track days!)

Turns out did more damage...to engine. Cyl 4 has 86psi while others were around 170-180

Cams L2S you can do hill climbs, sprints, drift, motorkhana's etc AASA club level will only do track days and sprints at some tracks. some tracks in NSW are now pretty much only Wakefield and SMP south. SMP south it all depends on the club running the day. for example, MX5 club (homo's! haha) run on SMP south but through CAMS, of course the CAMS supersprint series is by CAMS. SSCC, Festival of Sporting Cars run under AASA at SMP South. the other SMP tracks (North, GP, Brabham) are on CAMS. so really, what events do you want to run? dont think there is an events calander out for next year yet so hard to forecast what events to run. for me, I ditched my L2S as I wasnt doing hill climbs, only door to door through MRA and FoSC which are all AASA. $100 bucks for AASA racing, or $110? for a sprint licence from CAMS...!
