  1. well done Mark, congrats!! you have set Ryan a target!!! how was the track conditions?
  2. 210 is a lot for just north. ill pass as MRA is a month after and more races
  3. MRA Round 3 is upon us on July the 1st at Wakefield Park. Usual classes being karts, MX5, superTT, future racers, Sports sedans and british class. I'll be doing superTT as well as MX5 class if car is up for it! anyone else from here coming? All I have done since last round is brand new Kumho V70a's and an alignment. so in otherwords sweet FA! superTT gets my vote for class as there is more competition from all sorts of cars where as the Mx5 class is now waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too competitive with majorty of the field on slicks and avarage lap time around 1.09! anyhoo, hope some people from here decide to race http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au/events/mra-round cheers, Chris
  4. whats the entry fee? Im interested. and I agree with Pete, its a horsepower track. no skill!
  5. this would be good but Im either in for MRA 1st July or AASA nats 22nd July.
  6. I think what he means is, a group of modifed and 'rare' cars gets attention quite easily. and not the best attentio regardless of how people act/drive. been there done that!! I might meet up at Karion as its 2mins from home and say gidday in the 5
  7. What are you after Pat? Perm?
  8. Lol so true!!!!!! R33s are commodores these days. In saying that I'll bring my commodore. Wait, i30 diesel! They are rare!!! Lol jk Mx5 in my avatar
  9. nice one PJ!! give 9's the FATONE and go for 8's!
  10. hmm..race formats are 6 laps 1st race, 8 laps race 2 and race is a ten lapper. food for thought! thanks lads! and yes, a wet track is something id have to consider as I dont have spare rims to have other semi slicks on. doh
  11. with AASA - superTT and MX5 classes its run what you brought, Im up against blokes on slicks and semi's so yeah, these would be good! for 219 a corner I think i'll give them a shot, although wont be running them till July at the earliest. If I can go half a second quicker (vs r888) at wakie i'll be happy, that'll take me well into the mid to high 1.12's (shut up you sub 1.10 people! i have 75rwkw!) and would actually be competitive in superTT in a 10 lapper
  12. yeah v710's are newish on the market. I think Mark in the S13 has had good reports with them?

  17. car is registered but I doubt i'll be in
  18. 2 chances...none and buckleys
  19. all the best for a speedy recovery Christian
  20. Generally if you have entered you have entered a class. thosre tyres will be part of the class. i.e. Im in 2B and allowed semli slicks, if I was to run slicks id be 2D. If I changed half way through Im sure my times woulkdnt count on slicks as I have entered without.
  21. this thread makes me want to race now. gtstcruiser - you going to do any MRA this year? round 2 is 6th may, unfort I wont be there, first one ive missed for ages
