  1. wtf?? /\ She was letting you know hey....anyhoo... Tim - I was going to get the Fed 595's....looks like I may have to reconsider! or perhaps you should get some semi's? Padey - how did the car feel though with the new suspension set up? How often to the C/C guys have track days?

  4. Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has registered there R33 as a two seater and how did you go about it? Ideally I'd love to fit an ADR/CAMS cage and have the back seat out but just wondering what sort of work/pricing/hoops I have to get through to decide if I should go through with it or not! This car isnt my daily drive btw but still love driving it when I can so I dont want to "deregister it" for a dedicated track car as I dont have a car trailer and my R31 prob wouldnt last towing it Cheers! Chris
  5. Hey guys, thought I'd post it in here for the motorsport gurus to answer! Ok, so my car makes 195rwkw on 12psi but for some reason, I have a "thing" in the back of my mind that tells me not to run on the high boost for track days, so with the boost controller its on 7psi - but does spike a bit upto around 9 What psi do you guys with stock turbos run at the track? Has there been issues? Im scared the turbo will let go on the higher boost setting on 12 - although does have a tendancy to spike a bit also (mods - fmic, turbosmart b/c, powerFC/full exhaust) I always do the "warm up" laps, go hard for a few and cool down after - I guess Im just doing "prevention over cure" I guess my post is asking - would it be safe to run that amount of boost through the standard turbo for track days - Im not out there competing, but for events like hill climbs and the bathurst super sprint I may use the high oost as its only for 30-60 seconds per go. I dont know of my post is making sense! d'oh! Cheers, Chris
  6. looks clean!! mines full of mud and dust from rally/drift/track days

  15. dont sit in the same gear all the time at same speed i.e. sit in 2nd at 50, sit in 4th at 50 - keep changing gears but not giving it a boot full
  16. burnsie - as was stated the mph will be a true indication to power - your 13.9 was a very clean run, everything worked well. my car just with the cat back did a 14.5 @ 95 with a 1.9 so around the 140-150rwkw Chris - that 114mph is good for mid to high 12's!!!
  17. and no guys, it wasnt me in the R31
  18. So sad My thoughts are with the families and friends. RIP
  19. Spotted Corinne, Brad, Brendan at OP today soaking wet
  20. What an interesting day! had 4 sessions out there, 3 in the rain! 2 sessions were quite heavy and was getting a bit dicey out there. Learnt alot more about car control, lines, etc in the wet, hopefully that can help me in the dry as its easier in the dry! Had some fun from main straight into and out of turn 1 - some nice drifting and also turns 2 and 3 were linked a few times! 1 time I had a bit too much pace and came off into the mud at around 110km which was fun! My window was down so theres mud everywhere in the car! Unfort though there were two accidents. From here there was me, Corinne, Brad, Brendan turned up to spectate and who else? Sorry for forgetting! Was a good day, some real good cars.. GTRs, evo's sti's, a ford GT40 replica, datto 1200 with CA18 which haulled arse! Liz, there were 3 groups 6-8 in each - sometimes only 4 plenty of room and plenty of track you missed out!
