Guys, Just quickly, Im getting my car tuned friday week - powerFC - all booked in. Im now thinking I should have got the boost controller option / kit with it - nengun have some good prices - but is it worth the risk? Will it get here on time or before??? Or will it be a waste of time! Something I cant really afford right now! On their site - enquiries - it says please allow upto 3 business days for them to get back to me.....so Im not too sure about it all!! Anyone had experiences with them? Or got a good contact number if anything!?!?

umm....are you thinking of an RB motor? Thats why your on SAU? Peak Performance (I think?) deal with BMW's and turbo'ing and supercharging. Thought of a bolt on kit? try www.performanceforums.com as there might be a few members there to help you out. p.s. paint looks like a good job edit - yep - new BMW motor in old school bmw ftw old M3 motor?

Hi guys, Getting my car tuned late next week, and so far its just ya 33gtst with "basic mods" using a turbosmart single stage boost controller (flick between standard 7 and its meant to be set to 10psi but spikes 50% of the time!) and Im thinking - should I ditch the turbosmart b/c and go back to the normal solonoid to prevent the thing from spiking and causing issues, or as its being tuned (2-3 day tune) will it be alright? At the moment the car is running like crap and I just cant wait for the tune to stop all these bugs. But my main concern is boost. is 7psi stock going to be sufficient? Or should I use the turbosmart b/c and just keep it at the one setting? Or somehow rob a bank and buy an EBC for minimum 500? Cheers guys, Chris
