  1. Team, The Alfa club of NSW are quite low on entries for the interclub sprint on 28th august. Its $165.00 and it includes a timer. you will need to be a memeber of a CAMS affiliated car club and also hold a Wakefield/AASA/CAMS L2S licence If interested http://www.alfaclubnsw.org.au/events/index.html then you'll see aug 28th, then forms. click to download please let the event secretary know also.
  2. Remember insurance companies arent charities. they are a business. also, if your mods arent approved by your local state/territory then it is illegal full stop. its the law. why should a company pay you out for something illegal? if the mods contributed to the accident and were not approved - of course they have every right not to pay. however if you have mods that arent approved, and someone runs up the back of you, the mods did not cause the accident so if an insurer then says we arent paying, that is wrong. stig mick has it right - re:agreed value. I have done the right thig and I got my car engineered. its covered with shannons. but also, you pay for what you get - if shannons have agreed to cover you - regardless of cost, I know what Id be doing.
  3. I read it as HMAS LOL sounds like a good class/starting point for skylines!

  6. working on his short game
  7. fkn LOL Noel comes up with the goods again! I kinda agree with Noel - if its a time attack event - people want to enter for time attack and plenty of track time. if there is drifting - cuts down their track time!
  8. nfi - James - stonkering time and effort - congrats! car looks awesome too. is that the same S15 you took to EC skidpan back in early 2006?? come a long way!
  9. Wayne, can you please PM Dispatch.

  15. Long time between updates... Raced at wakefield in June - car felt really off power. I even had a swift Gti pull away from me down the straight. I only managed a 1.14.3, had brand new semi's too so took the car to a mates place after it, had 105-110 psi across all four. after some research and talking to folks, got it to monaco performance just near newcastle - turns out the timing belt had skipped a tooth on the exh cam and put the timing all out. good job it is a non-interference motor. got it all fixed, oil change too, new plugs, back upto 170psi car feels good once again so have entered a supersprint 2 weeks time just as more a practice run before MRA in october now I want 1.13's!!
  16. 1.09's please
  17. those valve caps look good on my car, thanks!
  18. they are the pinnicle of sports cars.
  19. Harry, it was the way the comparison was worded, esp this bit! anyhoo, we all know if I drove the MCA car it would have done a 1.24
  20. I think its a stonkering time - but comparing it to porsches race times is a bit silly. the MCA did 14 laps over 2 days? and only a few of them by going off natsoft were a hot lap. the porsches times are in a race door to door and their lap times would be very consistant for that whole race of 10 + laps. that is far from apples with apples. edit - JP - What are your plans for the slotcar for next year's WTAC? can much more weight come out?
  21. you poor barstard
  22. daily/tow + weekend/racer + trailer
