nice work, it also depends on what car you have! my VT LS1 was sold in 2 weeks just on carsales.com.au and got 1.5k less than what I wanted my magna took a little too long though...

they were my thoughts - on twisties, a lower powered skyline (eg 200rwkw vs 270ish rwkw) with better suspension and brakes,would be quicker as you can use majority of the power without sliding, losing traction etc. my "unoficial" time around EC in my old VT LS1 was 2min flat (213rwkw + minor suspension bits) Coners wasnt the best but the straights was where the VT had it. Im leaning towards upgraded suspension at this present time

oh thats right - when i had my VT LS1 - did one thing, then did anoher, changed another , broke that.. I want to do it right the first time, not rush it with this car the car is going to see the track, but not all the time, say once a month due to budget

Hello All, For those who have gone down the modifying path - just a question. Who decided to go handling/braking performance over outright power mods? Ive been thinking what I want to do first - I love driving twisty roads (old pac etc) and it got me thinking, even though its stock as a rock (my R33) cept for DBA4000 rotors, if I upgraded the suspension etc and got the handling sorted out, it would be a weapon around corners and wouldnt need grunt - maybe bit slowish before a corner but mid corner speed would be up and of course, late braking with the upgraded brakes and on the track could out coner some faster cars, who knows! Or do you go for all the performance power goodies first? Who has gone which direction and why? at the monent, I cannot afford to do both types of mods time will get me there Cheers, Chris p.s i did a search but couldnt find much what i was after
