    hmm...so is diesel the way of the future? I honestly thought Id nver see myself in one! my next daily will be a diesel dual cab such as a colorado, navara, triton, ranger or something. good for towing!

    exactly! a year or so ago I was going to be a 4 door non turbo r33 for 2.5k as a daily. but then I realised it was a non turbo r33 4 door so I didnt.

    I have a set of OMP's bought them on ebay from a motorsport store in QLD - quite cheap!

    tk80 - I wont get into much details - but they will do it for classic race cars and even then it has to be referred to a regional manager its not an "off the shelf" policy and not something the'll offer to anyone and everyone. hence why I said nee-san - thats ebcause he is sponsored by them! Ben - yeah man give em another go!

    MX5 is with them too. but its road registered on ltd use. OAMPS brokers also do race car only (not on track of course) Ben = give shannons and or oamps a call - you'd be suprised how affordable it could be for that sort of cover. and for everyone else - as an FYI - no one will cover on the race track!

    r888 seem a good tyre for the price. mine are 800 for a set of 15's Im going for my second set on the MX5, my last set lasted about 10 events? I think I still have 1 meet left in them. Richard - when was the last time you raced at EC? you still got the s13 for track duites or the GTR still?

    thats it Mark, go back a year or 2 ago and people were doing high 40's, low 50's and that was quick in the day! and here I was last year cheering I got under 2 mins haha

    please post more info on your car! sounds like its a good thing! I guess my expereince and set up will be different as Im non turbo, 75rwkw..I need corner speed more than anything. what tyres will you be running?
