So, got an email from the MRA guys. They are dropping the $60.00 level 2 licence and bringing in a national licence with AASA which is 100 a year. (down from over 200 I think?) It also means we can race in any AASA event in different states! http://www.mraseries.com.au/news/53/

LOL I was thinking the same Dan! However after driving S13deviats s13 around the track - I can see why they are good things when set up nicely!

S13deviat and myself have similar driving experince out on the track, his S13 with 200rwkw managed a 1.20 at OP GP my 250rwkw R33 could only manage a 1.28 (my 75rwkw mazda managed 1.27.2) My r33 must have been a pig.

With the cost of replacing the CA to a built/modded SR as an option, changing everything to 5 studd etc, Id just get an s14 and sell s13. They are low teen's these days and some out there have aound 200rwkw which in their form will be a great platform. S15 would be high teens and again another good option. Otherwise the EVO would be next choice in my books.

Pretty much! Digits only are....I dont understand the fasination of it, but digit only plates are worth bucket loads. At the shannons auction at motor ex, there was a number plate that had two people bidding and bidding and went 20k over the guide range. I guess also to collectors, say they have a rare car and they have a bit of coin, they'll pay more for that plate to suit their car.

Charles, Ryan (BOZ22N) has R33 GTR brembo's up front. I went in his car for a session yesterday and felt much better than other 33's (Iincluding my old banger) with minimal upgrades. If I had to do it all again I'd get them as an upgrade

Top day !! While I didn't enter, it was great to see everyone have fun! As clappa said was good to give bAck to the club and help out! Day seemed to go well! A few points on my weekend... Drinks fri night was awesome and good to have a social night! Cheap drinks too at the soilders! I managed to get in a few cars between sessions and make 2 people come off the track...lol Perfect weather!! Big thanx to all that helped, Ando, prue, zebra, mbs206, Nismo, clappa, stevo, Anna, Duncan and Neil! Too many actually!! And thanx to all that came down I noticed a fair few people spectating on the hills, more than previous years, a good sign eh! A great range of cars too! I'll enter next time!!
