Ive seen Wakie have a few drift days. Infact there was a group recently from JDMST who privately hired out the track and had drift and grip sessions.

LOL @ Richard!! good point! Oh, for those who want to take this stuff off the street - just look at the texi wrap up thread - lots of smoke, drifting and burnouts - LEGALLY!!

I wouldnt say Im cut, SAU NSW has some pretty good drivers who compete in drifting, supersprints, prod sports, irace, mra etc Im not saint, never said I was. Im alot better than what I was 10 years ago. since getting into motorsport a few years ago my attitude has changed alot on the roads. Yes, it is his problem and he will face the concequences, however what if he kills a family? himself? his family has to live with that. Its just not worth it.

Ours are. You generally get 1 lap warm up from pits, but as soon as you get to last corner and cross the line timing starts. However with EC supersprints, you get 1/4 lap warm up as track is toooooooo long LOL Wish I could make it Leif, but I'll be drunk on my bucks weekend LOL

What, and because his s14 is set up for drift it makes it ok?? And that people are there with radios make it ok too? f**k no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My r33 was used for drifting and supersprints however I did it at the track where its legal. Same with my mx5 - its a track car. I drive it on the street to and from race meets. Regardless, What ACA and TT need to do (which they wont) is put their money where their mouth is, if they want kids like this off the street? BUILD ANOTHER DAMN RACE TRACK IN NSW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get behind the real car enthusiasts and help us to get the government to build another track. With OP closed, I have no doubt we'll see more street drifting and racing now, which is a shame.

Leif, I have just got on out and tried to scrub them in before I got there. I had brand new r888's a few months back - put them on the car the weekend before and drove on the roads around my area trying to get a bit of wear in them straight up. seemed to work!

good to see prices have come down! but yeah, considering therers that European car club event for 4 hours @ night for 345 bucks.....superlap over two days for clubsprint does seem a bargain!!! I'll hopefully be an official in pit lane (cough jess pitlane plz cough cough) We need to have something to say we are all from here and meet up and have beers, like an SAU superlap shirt or singlet made up!

Actually - its modified vehicles in general P platers arent allowed to drive. so a turbo conversion is a no no.

Different days Lizzeh. When you look at costs for fuel and time in travel to and from wakie - overall you'd save money by doing this event. EC though have jacked their prices for 2010 which is a shame
