I was filling up with fuel at the shell servo in chatswood and heard alot of yelling across the road on the hwy. turnouts out a jeep (BGQ42T) has gone up left lane which lasts for 150-200m and tried to beat traffic. as he pulled in he collected a lancer. the guy in the jeep looked a massive gym junkie and started kicking the lancer and punched the window, the guy of the lancer got out and was punched straight away. so the fag in the jeep who caused the accident, punches the bloke. the lancer driver runs away behind some cars. I leave my car, run across road and start yelling abuse at the big gym junkie dude, he sees me (im nothing to be scared of btw!) and then he runs off back to his jeep and jumps in. the guy who was hit yells out to me the rego. so yeah, jeep speeds away. I rang police and tell them. I give my details to the guy in the lancer Still to this date, the guy never called me. so this flamin mongrel in the jeep has got away with it. I also rang my mate who is a copper and gave him details of it all. the jeep driver has done it a few times before. its f**ked.

Good on you for getting into it Kieren! I started off a few years ago doing a few wet skid pan days. was uber cool fun and learnt car control! then did a few days at EC with some instructors on the circuit. did more skid pan days, and got into motorkhana's with a bloke called Aaron McGill who races in the fujistu V8's and also did some John Boston days. I started off in a V8 commodore and then my standard r33. Any car will be fine as Zebra said - make sure its running good before you go out! Keep doing DECA days withg SAU VIC and maybe even look at driver dynamic days - they are based in VIC and do alot of driver days. Then maybe get into a more motorsport based club and do a supersprint series and see how you go

totally understandable mate! Ryan (BOZ22N) is doing the same with his r33! What he is doing is putting cage in and going to be running with MRA and maybe iRace. MRA's class is combined sedans and I think iRace is muscle car class maybe? Otherwise yeah, IPRA needs to be built to specific rules and restrictions. Go all out, cage it and race MRA @ wakie - you'll love it!

supersprints would be SVD class most likely. AASA yeah as Harry said you can run in any thing providing you have a full roll cage (NSW you would be in combined sedans - has everything from mx5's and mini's to HQ's and silvias and WRX's and BMW's)
