Hey guys, just wondering, are there issues with running two brands of semi's? I posted while ago bout my dunlop direzza's - 2 are just about dead, but the lhs are still really good. Now ive got my old r888's in the garage, and the best 2 out of that set, are better than the 2 dead dunlops currently on the mxfail.. they are the same profile/size etc. would there be an issue running the two brands? say dunlops on left, r888's right? or would it be better somehow to have the dunlops up front, and r888's rear? discuss! it will be just for the next supersprint @ OP GP in august, then its brand new semi's cheers, Chris

what is it with 300rwkw? is that new new "in" thing? whats the 300rwkw going to be used for? never understood this measurement of wanting 300rwkw! I had basic bolt on mods and got a very responsive 254rwkw on a stock,unopened motor which suited track and daily driving (didnt drive it daily but easily do-able if only car)

I think they must have fixed them Adam, Quite a few of us ran them doing 1.13's and quicker at wakie and with no issues at all - over the 3.5 years of owning my r33 I only replaced them once due to wear and tear!

Lane Cove hey? Im from there too - but this GTR/skyline doesnt sound familiar, lately I have found a few lines that arent actually forum members on here, so now its hard to see who is who! I'll keep an eye out though for sure!

oh and tyre choice will help too! you can have a 5k brake package....but if your running cheap street tyres, you arent going to stop/pull up any quicker.

Yeah I had a similar set up to Andy, but had 10 more rwkw What size wheels are you running? If you are running 16's, you are limited to what sort of rotor size upgrades. I had DBA 4000 all round, QFM pads, braided lines, martini dot5 fluid and lost count how many supersprints and hillclimbs I did in it, and this was a pretty good package for my limited budget and I was running r32 gtr wheels Another bloke, Ryan (boz22n on here) has more power than andy and me, but runs 17" wheels and has the GTR rotors and brakes AFAIK
