You'll find with younger drivers and insurance, that course is done through AAMI. Certainly a good thing an insurance company does! John, re: McGill - unsure! is he still racing in the v8 lites?(konica series or whatever?) And I need to book in with you John to get my PC licence for next year

Think how many motorsport involved car clubs there are in NSW (look at natsoft.com.au) ....and then imagine how many members that club would have! if we all get behind it, fingers crossed it can all happen with the right support. Next year for state rounds, there is only EC and wakefield now, its going to be hard to book weekend race meets with just these two tracks, NSW badly needs another track!

Hate to say it, but the texi isnt an advacned driving course., it will be fun, it will be timed, but sorry, I dont see it as a course. The best ones out there... anything by peter finlay, murcotts, ian luff, John Boston and not sure if he still is around, but Aaron McGill's automotion the first 3 guys and their companies offer at least 3 stages of courses. As Cass said - theres stage 1 and 2 and once you have done them, you can go and do stage 3. you can then go on and do a 2 day course with Peter and Luffy, which then is more track orientated and can allow you to get your CAMS PC licence but these are quite expensive but certainly worth the money if you are going down that way. Even some of the tracks and places, like EC, OP and HART (in St Ives) have their own courses and instructors. It is certainly worth doing, good on you for looking into it mate!

wow...id certainly be looking for an a/market ECU asap if running a turbo like that Glenn... top stuff Bert, that mph is pretty decent mate!!! Once you get a bit more practice, maybe some better tyres - if you can get ya 60ftr's down to 1.9 - 2.0. your mph is good for flat 12/low 12's...maybe a very high 11!

spotted go33go - white r33 in artarmon a few times, has sau sticker near rear no. plate spotted it yesterday in teh bluebird and today in teh mx5

You park your rx7 in a communal garage Richard? thats keen...I wouldnt want to leave that around! my neighbours loved the day I moved out from mum n dads...being in a battle-axe block...our driveway went between two houses, so first car was a loud LS1.....then the R33....and having 6am starts on a weekday and 4am starts on a weekend...yeah they didnt like me much
