Hey guys, I bought some 2nd hand semi slicks a while back, had about 90% tread left, pretty decent, and a good price (couldnt afford a brand new set ) I got an alignment before I did Oran Park south (twice in the one week - wednesday and sunday) and since then, the right hand side semi's have been worn down ALOT! they are pretty much gone, and would be lucky if I had 1 track day left in them. What causes this? Is it the track itself with that side of the car? the alignment felt good, I liked how the car handled, but could it have been too aggressive? (-3 camber front, -2.4 rear) cant remember toe settings. Only thing I can think of would be tyre pressures? I was monitoring them, mostly sunday as it was a supersprint, but from what I recall, the pressures seemed fairly consistant with the LHS Anything else could be an issue? Well you know how fast your car is, and you know when you are expecting to give it a hit, your mate might just give it a quick boost before you relise! anyhoo, after driving my old r33 with 254rwkw (gtrs turbo)- with truck loads of torque, it felt quick, but as Ash said, not "snappy!" I then drove s13deviats 210rwkw s13 with s15 turbo, and it came on boost hard and quick. the s13 felt quicker mainly cause of this snappyness, however top end the r33 would just keep pulling hard with no issues of struggle. now I have around 70rwkw so everything else I drive seems like a rocket haha

LOL @ Paul!!! I overtook an Alfa at the flip flip on a supersprint 2 months ago...he gave me a frown as we came back into pits Gee's Duncan, the gtr sure was a pogo stick!!!!!

Ando - the boot looks like it has alot of pressure on it (looking at the lines on boot to rear panels)

S13deviat has a slightly modded s13 sr20 with cams, ecu, boost etc running a standard s15 turbo. In that current setp he does 1.09'2 around waklie which is pretty good!!! He was looking to upgrade to the hks GTRS turbo for his motorsport applications. just a bit of food for thought - I know you said no hks - garret only, but thought id just out it out there!

Hey guys n gals! Just want to say thanks for a great year - as today is the AGM for the NSW club, some know I didnt accept the nomination of President and Vice President for this year as I have alot of personal stuff coming up over the next 12 months and I felt I wouldnt be able to give 110% to the club. In saying that, Id also like to thank Adam - abo bob for the last...4-5 years?? and last 2 years a as a bloody good president!! so cheers to Adam for all his hard work and efforts. He has been a great leader and good motivation and an inspiration to most (including myself!!) So, Thanks again to the guys and girls who supported us, and supported the club.
