  1. Hey, Anyone wanna sell me a cat back exhaust. Basically i want one with a cannon and probably a mid muffler. Mine currently has a mid muffler and the rear is another muffler... sounds like a pansy. Pm prefferable or just post here cheers.
  2. if you could change the "pick up only" to "will post to sydney" i'd be very interested...haha. Let me know!
  3. there has been a thread on this in the last i dunno 6 months. to fit i bent mine a bit up and towards the engine from memory. but mine ended up getting wedged between the upper wastegate dump line and the exaust manifold cover. so i'd say mines been running pretty hot whenever i drive. saying this i've had no problem with it so far. If i can get around to it it would be preferrable to bend it so its touching nothing really.
  4. Ye mate, sorry it sold pretty damn quick.
  5. Just after the stock pipe that runs from intercooler and up to engine cross over pipe (its got the pressure nipple on it for an r33). anyone got one left over from their front mount install?? pm me, sydney would be ideal. jeremy
  6. Hey guys Item: RB25 Apexi Power Fc + hand controller bought an APexi Power Fc off a member here a while back and being a student haven't had the funds to get it in and tuned. I installed it and took it for a run, so it works fine. Running factory map. Power fc console is in excellent condition, and i sourced the hand controller which appears brand new. Also has original apexi box and instruction manual (in japanese haha, but a guy on this forum has a link somewhere to the english version) Price $1100 for the lot (sticking to this as a paid a few hundred more a while back). Numbers are: PFC ECR 33 010-1972 for console, and Fcc3 010-01657 for controller. (newer version) These run on both S1 and S2 (ran in my S2) Location: Sydney, Epping. (will consider postage at buyer expense possibly).
  7. CEF11E and Paulr33..... i don't mean to take nything away for you guys as ur right in your application BUT i believe airbornesoldier is talking about a line for a BOOST GAUGE...the usual place for a mechanical gauge is to just tee into the stock like which comes out from the back of the plenum (my old r32 did anyway). unless im missin something here i think u guys are talking about the boost line from turbo to actuator to control wastegate...this is entirely different to boost pressure reading line for gauge and i thought i've read here that that actuator line should never be used as a boost reading. a) because it'll add a bit of overboost b) if somethin goes wrong at gauge side of things you've very possibly got infinate boost!
  8. sorry dude would love to give it to ya but not really interested in posting it. too big. prefer pick up on this
  9. i don't think it does no. Not 100% but remember seing somewhere that they might be different. don't wanna sell it to ya if i'm not 100% so unfortunately gotta run with a no. sorry mate.
  10. boot lid still needs to go....
  11. interesting stuff mate i for one am not gonna change my dump cos i'm a lazy bastard...haha pretty much dont have time anyyway hopefully someone may have an answer as to whhether a wastegate flap hitting the inside of the dump is a serious concern obviously one would think there would be a considerable boost spike seen from this but i for one havent noticed any (apexi boost gauge...i think) but whether or not the flap might shatter or deform in some way from the repetative impact could be another issue to look out for. My 2c is that its not a massive deal as long as your not seeing rediculous boost spike. I say this because its not like the flap really flings open real quick, well enough to damage itsef (that's how i understand it). but again thats only my opinion and i am not to be taken serious in anyway way haha. most people would naturally say change it asap...but i'm seein no undesirable effects...so hence not changin back. so good luck with it all anyway....and if what yu say you've observed is true (not confirming or denying) then it is quite disappointing from JJR.
  12. ps i'm also running standard actuator to the best of my knowledge (never had the boost controoler off to tell realy)
  13. WET-25T i'm actually really suprised that you've found the flap to be hitting the inside of the jjr dump. I'm assuming you think its hitting like the roof of the upper dump line (wastegate line). and i'm also not sure how you can tell this completelybecause once its bolted up its bolted up and you can't observe whats going on. i'm saying this because i have a jjr dump installed on my s2 r33 and i am actually quite happy wit the product. Honestly didnt notice a massive increase in power but the cars completely untuned (stock ecu) and these mods DONT necessaily mean increased power but will down the track. i did however notice induction noise came on earlier, so that prob means it is helping gain boost i also run a turbotech boost controller and have set it to 12 psi, it pretty much hits this spot on according to my boost gauge. yeh just a little suprised with your findings is all i have to say. i could sort of understand what youve found....but yeh my experience is it operates fine...
  14. would love to let you know but honestly i don't have a clue because it came in a kit. They are meant to be equivalent to stock i think and considering stock is around $90-$100 or something like that i would imagine it would be something nearish and underish of this. haha thats my logic yep still got it.
  15. as one would expect it looks a lot like a timing belt.. anyway i'll have pictures up in a minute its been sold numerous times...but time wasters had their way and so still for sale price drop $40 + $10 delivered in australia. i mean how cheap do ppl want their timing belt!.....its basically equivalent to the stocker item i think.
  16. c'mon people...this is a steal!
  17. located in nsw, sydney
  18. hey dude i got a stock cooler, but no piping.....sorry man also got a stock dump, front and cat. but after the cat i dont have. you'll also need to use ur own gaskets or some goo if its only temporary. these are just sitting in my garage. so you could have all for say $100 maybe negotiable located in epping - sydney.
  19. from my knowledge 45V something written on the compressor housing indicates it's an r33 or stagea turbo (same), as 16V something indicates it's an r32 turbo. as for the other number i dont think they're all that consistent...but i could be wrong main way to tell is if you have a metal compressor wheel (makes a 'ting' when tapped) then its a series one r33, if its nylin then its a series 2. As for r34's i think they're also nylon....not sure.
