  1. these things are awesome.... personally dont have one (cos i'm not plannin on upgrading my turbo on my r33) but i can tell ya on my old r32 gtst i had an ARC sidemount. Just the design of them makes the world of difference. I'm not too sure but i think the inlet is the left side and you'll notice that the air tubes are like flared out where they meet the tank... optimises flowability. can't understand why this hasn't sold yet. good luck with the sale anyway.
  2. hey mate i've just recently gone down this path. i tried with an r32 GTR pump to put it into my r33 GTST...... lot of fiddling and i didnt get there (dunno if the r33 pumps are the same). I reckon if i had more time i could of got it to slide in. Anyway i ended up buying the tomei fuel pump (comes complete with cradle thingy), this just comes straight out of the packet/box and slides straight into the factory guides. Tomei from what i hear is EXACTLY same as nismo. Answer is: TOMEI/NISMO are direct replacement Anything else requires fidling.....that's what i am able to put together (havent tried them all like all the bosch's....) on the topic i've found that my tomei gives a slight hum in the cabin...its only very very slight....and i still like it. and then when you step on the peddle the hum steps up a pitch....kind of cool......but the sound is only just noticeable. Thats another reason why i went tomei as with the other ones needing modifying you gotta be certain the pumps not lieing on the fuel tank wall -----> your "hum" becomes a "buz". But price wise the tomei/nismo is a a bit more expensive than the others.....so comes down to your call.
  3. thanks mate...and yes it is...cant understand why its not sold yet... ah well only $70 so no real hurry...but surely someone wants this to go into their gtst (r32 in particular).
  4. Hey guys got a DAYCO timing belt for RB25DET that's surplus to my needs (new). It came in a kit bought from a trader here. $50 in sydney
  5. pic below shows the nipple, top left of pump. This has been cut back to about half the size it was originally. (apparently that's what you do to fit it into an r33).
  6. hey guys got an r32 gtr fuel pump for sale asking $70 firm selling cheap because i trimmed back the little outlet snout that goes from the pump to the solid metal fuel line. i trimmed it back because i was trying to get it to fit into my r33 GTST...i couldnt (although plenty of people on this forum claim they do fit....go figure). Anyway, it's basically the same just with a smaller nipple at the outlet. No biggie, just hose clamp it on nice and tight (which is what you'd do anyway). i was gona run it in my car like this...i just couldnt get the pump to get into the tank in the right angle and dont have time to fiddle around. i bought it off a guy on these forums who had a mint 1993 GTR with low kilometres. Tested the pump myself before i tried to put it in and it works sweet. Located in Sydney, north, pick up only pm me thanks jeremy
  7. good concise answer but i think you forgot one more option: 4. buy a second hand one for only around $200-$300 and have it put on......if moneys tight...perfectly viable option

However does have two tiny holes towards the front that appear to be for some other smaller wing or something. So you will want to fill these and respray Colour: Gun metal grey Price: $100 ONO PM me
  15. GTST - sorry mate someone snapped up the turbo and elbow real quick....they sent me a pm and i only saw that so they came and got it. Sorry champ.
  16. Don't forget you need to have a pressure tapping point (for your wastegate actuator) from somewhere. The r32 turbo takes its pressure off the turbo compressor housing. However the r33 turbo i believe takes it from the line after the intercooler (which you wont have). I was planning to do this mod and so have a pressure nipple threaded into my compressor elbow. I will be advertising an r33 turbo and elbow for $200 soon if anyones interested. Elbow comes with a pressure nipple attached already. SO your basically good to go. While i'm here...i beleive the banjo bolts have to be changed if your car is BASICALLY an early 1989 model i think. Mine's a 1990 model and i measrued the banjo size and they were fine.
  17. 4-7 is a bit much just making sure i account for those completely new to unscrewing a screw... i do apologise really mine did take a bit longer then you would think tho because i needed to take off a wierdly set up pod box and pod filter also cleaned out the air inlet pipe to turbo as this had gunk in it. so really lower the time and no dont just take off the front bar if you dont have to you risk snapping some of the clips i came straight in from the inside wheel guard....easy ass again my bad on time as i did a few other things....
