  1. I have imported a few things thru Nengun now, the physically biggest item being my Front Dumps and Front pipes.....never had a problem with customs so far, but it really is luck of the draw
  2. The two you are interested sound the buisness But would if imported need to be returned to standard condition to Comply under the SEVs Scheme My best Guess at HP estimates would put them around 500-600rwHP...and likely high 10's low 11's...but I could be way off...!
  3. Exhaust and Front mount have worked well for you then well done
  4. Warren, I'm glad to to you editted the bit out about me mouthing off after not having driven a Skyline
  5. No....just pick up any copy of Wheels or Motor magazine, there figures are roughly the same There was a Standard Manual VRX TJ Magna running 15.4's, most of the other 3.5 TJs were running between 15.8 and 16.2 (AussieMagna.com Dragday) infact the Motoplexs own Demonstration / Celebrity BA Auto Falcon sedans run 15.8's....its hardly fast these days mate Yep...about the same
  6. Warren you need to relax I only 'ever' type something if I am confident in what i am saying, the problem with all these kind of threads is people like yourself (and ARKON) compare modified Skylines with Standard competitors making any comparison totally irrelevant, liner32 in his first post said the R33 has an exhaust otherwise stock...why then assume its modified and say it'll beat a V6 or V8 VT Commodore..? Arkon from your sig I can see your car is hardly standard, hence i'm sure it would beat a TJ Magna, my 'standard' Magna ran a 15.8, a 'standard' R33 GTsT would be no quicker
  7. Sorry just realised its an NA R33....forget it mate
  8. LOL...I know its a Skyline website but it still amuses me how people will overate standard Skylines sometimes, a standard auto GENIII VT would cream a standard auto R33 GTsT My TJ 3.5 Auto Magna would cream a Standard R33 auto GTsT
  9. Heeerree weee gooo agaiiinnn....... But FTR Commodore if Skylines on standard boost
  10. If the symptoms have happened all of a sudden my moneys on a Cracked / broken piston ring land...... its happened to me a few times now On both occassions Pistons appear to be fine even when removed from the Block at first glance, but with a bit of fiddling you can remove the piece of piston between the rings themselves, generally under boost they are compressed and oil does not seep thru hence no smoke under load, however once you let off you leave a nice stream of smoke behind you! its normally caused by Detonation, lean out and can happen extremely quickly Is you intake system full of oil also?, or your catch can (if Fitted) filling with oil?. Maybe your car since rebuild has got hot, maybe within one cylinder, blown the gasket, and cracked a piston....? Leak down test best way to check for Piston ring land.
  11. 1980 VC 4 Cyl Manual Commodore Hand me down from parents....took an absolute caning and never broke....but with only 58kws I guess its pretty hard to break something
  12. I have one I bought by mistake....I wanted a boss...not a boss spacer! Suits R32's, Alluminium, black, 50mm Brand new, never used, in carton. $60
  13. Could be!.....I was born in Saltburn (near Whitby...Captain Cooks home town ) Then did the usual working holiday to the UK about 10 years ago now, lived in Middlesbrough and Derby....had an absolute ball great place, but owning a (nice) car over there is a nightmare....eg Fuel, Insurance, not to mention weather and keeping your pride and joy clean! BTW.....I used to drive an OPEL
  14. Anythings possible when you throw enough $$$ at it It would require some serious cutting, welding and bogging, as guards are part of rear quarter panel. You'd have to be keen
  15. They came in at about $1100 delivered to my door
  16. Yeah and since the Japanese were knocked back on there bid to commence whale hunting again there only going to get more prevelent I guess
  17. Looks as though it was the standard latch in the track photos, but later (Pics 2 & 3) bonnet pins have been fitted...More weight saving!..?
  18. ATS O'Connor (Australian Turbo Sales)
  19. I have ordered one today thru Supacheap $88, I will see what it looks like when it comes in as it just says suits R32 on the computer, and theres a few different styles of R32 Boss. I will let you know
  20. Got my Greddy / Trust ones today from NENGUN, they come with Gaskets, nuts and bolts. And they look sexy FTR, I had no dramas with import duty.
  21. Anyone know where I can get a HKB ON-110 steering wheel boss in Perth (or quick mail) order to suit my MOMO wheel. Been waiting for my boss to arrive from Nengun for 2 months, arrived today but turns out its just a spacer not a boss! I re-read the ad on Nengun, and it looks like a few people have been confused as he's changed the wording somewhat stating over and over this part is not a boss just a spacer..... Anywho I want the steering wheel off my Kitchen bench and on the car!
  22. Nah...it ain't a 34 Motor I painted it, basically to keep with the R34 theme of the car......well it has R34 wheels and I figure thats enough to start a theme :)
  23. No, I think you should run in the 11's, although high 11's
  24. Normally I have found blown headgaskets (ie Water in oil) to have a distinct smell, have you checked under the oil cap for milky residue or bubbles in radiator, which are a couple of giveaways Has the car ever had its cooling system flushed and refilled with coolant since ownership....if not now may be a good time. Static burnouts are probably the worst thing you can do to any engine, so it would not be suprising if you have blown your head gasket If all else fails Whack some chemiweld or Bars leak in there she'll be good as new
