I have an Extreme 6 Puck clutch for my GTR (Although not yet Fitted) I dont envisage any problems with it, I have ran Brass buttons in my last 4 (FJ20T, SR20DET, RB30ET) Performance cars and have not had one fail yet, a lot of the problems you here about are due to the way the Car / Clutch is driven.

I have noticed recently my Throttle pedal keeps bending over towards and eventually is hard up against the kick panel. I have been a bit lazy and have'nt investigated further, I just lean down and bend it back to its proper position. I beleive the pedal assembly itself is just held in with two bolts thru the firewall. Anyone else experienced this problem?

I like the Factory Theme so went R34 Red -
Hey Pete, Great Time well Done Looked like there was some pretty fast cars down there that night!, They seem to be getting quicker with every meeting. Are you still running the Federals? (595RS's?) Heres a bit of (crap) video of mine from its last outing. http://skylinesaustralia.vidiac.com/video/...874003ddbca.htm And I agree everyone should give this event a go at least once, its reletively cheap, you learn a lot about your car and your driving and is a lot of fun

When it comes to daily drivers I love my late model Magnas. Cheap as chips to buy. (2 to 3year old examples with 50K's go thru Pickles each week from between 10 - 12G) Plenty of power / torque. (High 15's from the factory, great for winning 'form 1 lane' races!) Great fuel economy. (Mine runs around 9L/100kms) Reliable. (3yrs ownership 70'000kms - and except servicing Expenditure = $0) Heres mine, altough is due for replacement (with another Magna) very soon

Personally, when I launch my GTR from a measely 5000rpm on my way to a 2.1 60ft it is because: 1. I cant be stuffed fixing broken things anymore. 2. I find I am getting more and more mechanical sympathy (because of point 1.) 3. I'm not really into Drag racing and getting my time down to the last 10th of a sec dosnt really matter, people can basically work out what ET your GTR could acheive if you did a Hard launch anyway by looking at the 60ft time, ET, and MPH. Mine runs a 12.6 @ 113mph with a 2.1 60ft.....its fairly obvious if I did a full limiter launch a 12.3 could be achieved.....So why wreck your own car trying

Limits Of The Stock R32 Gtr Fuel System + Afc
PSI_GTSII replied to Full-Race Geoff's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My R32 GTR is stock except for a Pair of 2560R's It has the boost restrictor removed and boosts to just under 1 bar. At this boost its only producing (315rwHP) 228rwKW, Factory ECU cannot compensate for the increased airflow from new turbos and AFRs running very rich on as it comes on Boost. I am told the addition of PFC alone will add 40rwHP with no increase in Boost -
R32 Gtr Clutch Question
PSI_GTSII replied to PSI_GTSII's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Haha Jase...just have Mrs now, plus building new house, plus Kid on the way...broken gearbox from limiter launch would result in GTR off the road for very long time And yeah I think I am goin a bit soft to -
Bah...I still say the realistic top speed of a stock R32 GTR is 240kmh...to quote anything else involves to much speculation about perfect world scenarios.

R32 Gtr Clutch Question
PSI_GTSII replied to PSI_GTSII's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks guys. Looking at getting an Extreme Cushioned button clutch thru work, as mine slips on hard changes from 1st to 2nd, and slurs a little on 3rd. I'm fairly easy on the drivetrain and will never...ever..do a full rpm drop the clutch launch....but dont like slippage between shifts -
No I ordered mine thru www.performance-wise.com

Heres the reply I received: Hi Lindsay, Thanks for your purchase. Unfortunately you are right, Apexi are discontinuing the PFCs. It seems they are finally coming to the end of their micro processor stocks. I have also just ran out of BNR32/33 PFCs but I am expecting more available on the 27th of this month. I understand if you would like to cancel the transaction and purchase elsewhere. However, if you would prefer to wait then we will continue with the sale and have it ready to be shipped to you direct from Japan on the 27th. Sorry for any inconveneince caused by this. Regards, Paul. I have chosen to wait and see what happens

At work at the moment and am trying to organize/Order Clutch, but am unsure as to whether the R32 GTR runs push or Pull style clutch?
-
They probably will...but no doubt it'll be more expensive and have a host of features that I do not want or need
-
Well thats about 30rwKW more than mine so sounds about right Mine is about 50rwKW over standard so i'm guessin the standard GTR is going to need a whole lot of road to hit 240-250kmh....i'd say it'd get to 220kmh fairly quickly but would struggle from then on. Personally I judge top speed on what I can hit easily and quickly, not what it'll eventually hit if I keep my foot mashed to the floor for minutes on end...
-
R32 GTR....270 stock......Doubt it. I reckon 240 would be a more realistic.....mines modified (315hp@wheels) and I'd rate its top speed realistically in the region of 240-250kmh.

Panic bought one last night on Ebay for my 32 GTR Do not want to miss out!

Tis true.... Nengun have removed them from there site. I just bought one from Ebay

Most / All true Semi Slicks will be all but worn within 5000kms My advice is go for the Federal 595-RS's I had not driven on anything but street tyres until I bought these, at a recent track day I noticed the difference in grip levels and overall confidence they gave over the old Bridgestone road tyres was massive! Infact I dropped almost 3 seconds in Lap times. I imagine a true semi slick would be another level up again and would be good for another second off my lap time, but the tread life they offer is not enough for me as I do not want to run 2 sets of rims. You should comfortably acheive 15'000kms from the Federals.

Personalised Number Plates
PSI_GTSII replied to Cheeky_Nympho's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I got: Had'nt really thought the whole private plate thing thru when I went down to license the GTR for the first time in WA, I really just wanted Black plates for the black car, and all the obvious choices were gone already ie R32GTR, SKYLINE, GTR32, etc etc I could see the lady behind the counter getting pissed so I gave up and ended up with my license plate combo which is GTR as in the car and REA which is my surname. -
Its a mates car from work....he's always looking for feedback on it....well, actually I always just give him feedback on it like it or not Just quietly I reckon it looks pretty good...one of the best 33 GTS-Ts in Perth for sure.....although I never tell him that
