make a baffle plate up to slide behind your cat with a heap of 1/8 holes in it. make it as thin as possible and smear a little red exhaust selastic over it so the pits dont spot it

I remember back when i had a torana, i used to rev the engine up a little and drop small amounts off water down the carbie and watch all the crap come out of the exhaust. Done this every tune up i done and no problems. Realistically, very small amounts would form small droplets and go through the engine ok. I think the method behind it is cold water hitting hot carbon would 'blast' the carbon off surfaces and spit it out the exhaust.

they are Nismo Rays LMGT1's, 18*10 powder coated bronze. originally white

Mine is basically set up the same and I got no oil in my catch can as well. Put it down to a good condition motor

sounds like pipework leak or exhaust gasket around turbo maybe

personally i like the rough look, just not the cheap look.

waiting to hear back , gtr's in the mechanics tomorrow so hopefully all sorted.

Gunna have another look tomorrow to see if the cam seals are gone. Oil seems to be still coming from high up ( clear cam cover ). So going to remove top and bottom cover, clean everything, connect everything up and run it to see where its coming from. Wouldn't think it would go above gasket line. Maybe I'm wrong

oil would only fill maybe 3/4 of the sump so would doubt you would need to drain the oil.
