Had injectors cleaned and flow tested today. No 3 came back as flowing 10 percent more at idle than the other five.
Now looking for a new set of injectors. Anyone know of a good place to buy them. After 550cc
Bought one off ebay about 4 years ago, to much noise through it from gearbox, so cut the shifter below the solid section and same place below the rubber mounting on the standard one and tig welded to rubber mounted top half onto the short shifter bottom. The noise disappeared and due to the rubber mount I got a bit of give in the shifter which made it feel great.
Only thing I noticed is after a few years of driving with it, 3rd and 5th gear started to get a bit crunchy if changing to fast.
should be able to get them at any good auto shop. we got grab kits of them at work
musta dropped it otherwise you would have a coolant leak. and as kingscorp said, they must be annealed first before using them again
Had a talk with my tuner today and going to pull my injectors and get them cleaned and flow tested. If that doesn't work, them compression test, injectors are 15 years old now so won't hurt anyway

done a spark plug change before my tune on monday and found number 3 cylinder plug is alot more carboned up that the rest
my guess would be a stuffed/leaking injector.

idle has been a little rough, thinking maybe a bad flowing injector??

fix/hide anything you think your going to get picked on for then go over pits and hopefully things will be ok. cops make up there own rules to get you to got over.
as for the height, i heard that it has to be 120mm from the lowest point so it will be 100mm with full car and tank
fuel vapor from the fuel cap is normal, not sure about the smell of fuel in the car though. go over your fuel lines and fuel tank and look for small leaks
have chopped it, there are two wires, my guess would be that when it gets to temp the two wires connect and brings the light on, so keeping separate at the moment.
will be getting a new one anyway so will leave it like that, thanks bubba

at heading states, was just trying to remove the sensor from my old cat when the hex head has broken off leaving the threaded section and probe stuck in there
have traced the wiring back to under the passengers seat to a box (just by feel at the moment as will have to remove the seat to get at it)
has anyone done this and how to repair. need the car so any help quickly would be great.
I go to Aaron at ITP Racing (used to be In tune Performance) in Bibra lakes(SOR), Its going in next monday, going to change the cat today to a highflow unit and will do a oil/spark plug change on friday. will also check all the pipes and vacuum lines

mine is doing a very similar thing as well. get alot of backfires, changing gears it pops, decelerating and just touching the throttle will backfire and idle is very rough
doesn't have the get up and go as i thought a gtr would have.
got a funny noise happening under the bonnet as well but have put that down the a small leak in the BOV's when the car is not under load. same sort of mods as the op's as well.
car is running very rich at the moment so for a tune next week, hope that sorts out the backfiring and idle issues
