  1. my r33 auto's got safc, 3" exhaust, stock turbo, at 10 psi and cant get 400 out of tank even when cruzing? i think i worked it out to 13.5l/100k's up around small V8 consumption????? and just got it tuned:-( and just spent $200 on a original nissan o2 sensor

    i would'nt look at any type of import with turbo until you are earning over $1000 a week and are over 24. sorry! my thoughts only though.

  4. i recon u need to tune it every year, had mine done not long ago at hyperdrive and the safc was all over the place. will do a reset but the tune will have to wait as it is due for a service and i noticed that all my belts are starting to crack, will need to replace them :-(
  5. that included me fabricating all the pipework (made from 304 grade 2 1/2" stainless steel) and getting a friend to weld it up, im quite sure it has increased my horsepower. done a 180 degee turn on outlet of intercooler and plumbed back into existing piping (same as psiker's) had to cut alot of the front bar out and move a few things around in front of the radiator. happy with the outcome. have to get it dyno'ed again now. do you think the safc2 will need to be tuned again? and do i need to reset the computer?
  6. just letting psi and damo know my intercoolers in. took 2 days of 8hrs each but got it in. not a fun job by yourself. again thanks guys for your help, couldnt of done it without you.

  8. try give perfect transmissions a ring, the are in o'conner south of perth. had a mate get his crx gearbox a rebuild and they did a good job

  10. just a comparison on the r33 auto cars, im interested in what other people are getting with there cars and what they have done to it. I have a 3" exhaust with split pulse dump pipe, 10.5 psi with GBF bleed valve, SAFC2 tuned by Hyperdrive, standard auto, standard cooler (soon to be fmic) and im getting 215rwhp and 1/4 mile of 14.7 at best.
  11. how do you guys go with setting it up to get the right a/f ratios p.s. has anyone had a go at fitting there own fmic, just got one and interested in having a look at someones car close up to see what is involved, i am in warnbro
  12. for the older guys, i have just re done my insurance with HBF, insuring my gtst including aftermarket wheels and exhaust for $17,000 , cost me $800 a year and $200 excess. will allow FMIC as well. (but wont insure a aftermarket computer or boost controller).
  13. if your cam gear is slipping your engine will go boom, valves dont like touching pistons. you will know about it
  14. how much did it cost u to get a rom tune, i had hyperdrive tune my r33 rb 25 and got 215rwhp, didnt tell me they could do the rom does anyone know how to extract power from a auto without to much drama's , seems as if everyone that buys one has trouble with this
  15. got a 14.7 cou[le of weeks ago only got minor mods 3" x force exhaust high flow cat safc2 split pulse dump pipe standard intercooler 10.5psi on stock turbo 215rwhp tryied to do tune up but not producing anymore power, think the standard intercooler has caused a restriction. will replace soon
  16. thanks guys for the help as stated i am only making 215rwhp as for the aftermarket ecu, i have been told that you cannot put a power fc on a auto, not sure if anything else can go on. was thinking it was the intercooler but wanted second opinion
  17. Howdy guys an girls First post here so hello to everyone Got a small question about my gtst and I am wondering if anyone could help me. I have a r33 with a small amunt of work daone to it including 10.5 psi SAFC2 3" xforce exhaust with split pulse dump pipe standard intercooler auto box The problem is that the car has stopped producing power at 215rwhp. even if boost is turned up, it wont make anymore power? I have been told that I should be up around 240rwhp. it had this power before the safc was tuned up by the great guys at Hyperdrive and the dump pipe installed. Any ideas would be greatly apreciated
