just something i heard when i was up in QLD a guy up there told me that aaparently QLDers speak slower than the rest of the country i thin k its an old mans joke didnt mean to upset just jokes is all

how much were you gonna pay for it? have you found insurance for it yet (just wondering if it is a lot more than a normal turbo skyline)

with buying through prestige how do you know if you wont end up paying millions above the advertised price does it still end up being a bargain after you pay for all the extra stuff?

the problem i had when searching was that i came across 2 million threads about insurance and when i looked at them the only reply posts were about using the search button to look up insurance

the first time i came onto this forum i too posted an insurance question and took my time to search the relevant results what i am wondering is whether or not this forum could set up an insurance section containing minor details like how much you pay, who with, year and model, age, insurance bracket, and suburb name (no personal details) a silvia website does this and i found it pretty useful http://www.silvia.hl.com.au/insurance_form.asp i think it would help stop annoying everyone and be a useful resource if people think this is a crap idea then sorry for wasting your time

just wondering wether or not the bodykits that people get for the coupes will easily bolt onto the sedans if anyone who has a picture of a good skyline sedan could post it here so i can have a look it would be greatly appreciated thanks

you should probably sand it back to metal then spray it with a couple of coats of metal primer (from any good hardware) then once you have let it completely dry, spray with fine coats of black paint you have to make sure you are patient and let each coat dry also try and only spray really fine coats of paint, if you try and spray it fully black in one coat it will most likely run and stuff it up again hope this helps

my brother in law bought a skyline the other day from an auction for $13k i am a bit suss about it because he said it has a turbo but when i asked him if he had checked to make sure it was a GTS-T (because it was debadged) he hadnt. my questions are as follows: how much difference is there between a turbo and non-turbo? has anyone here tried to turbocharge a GTS before? should it give the same results as a GTS-T? will this affect insurance because it is not a factory turbocharger? also, are there any good insurers that will let you insure under your wifes name (better history and a year older) but not include your intimate details (bad record) but still cover you to drive it? (sorry, but i dont know the turbocharger type in case anyone wanted to know) so many questions any help is appreciated thankyou all for your time

Where abouts did he get the 4 door? (private sale?) and is the insurance cheaper at all because its 4 door?
