  1. sorry #27 but a camber kit isn't going to help you much at all. -6deg camber means the front has had some serious trauma and only replacing suspension bits is going to properly fix it. The camber kit allows +/- 1 degree of adjustment and ideal camber for the front is -1.5 to -2.0 degrees.
  2. Adj radius rod bushes go on the front end and primarily improve steering feedback and allows for more castor to be run. A good addition but doesn't affect axle tramp at all.
  3. Happy birthday, macka! Sorry, won't be attending on the 8th. Have a cokctail party and my sisters 19th on the same night. Hang out with hot 19yro chicks or seedy sau crew *thinks hard*...
  4. I'm with aw11 and RadiuM, once a car is lowered past its usable suspension travel, you really need to take a step back and ask yourself what you bought the car for. Want something with decent handling? Or something "phatt" thats "slammed" and chews rubber for breakfast? If the latter, they make LanCiv's for that exact purpose. Trade in!
  5. Thats the spirit
  6. 3" is bigger than: - the outlet from the factory turbo - factory L pipe to the throttle body - the throttle body itself Isn't it a bit of overkill if G0DF4Th3R isn't looking for 600-odd-hp? All that extra volume to fill isn't going to help response very much.
  7. Eww, carburetted. Unique find all the same Manual or auto? How's your better half liking it?
  8. GTAAH being your '95 vspec with twin 3037S? Bloody hell, thats impressive. Didn't know the vvti 1JZ was so potent.
  9. Depends, is the interior of your can hollow or filled with filtering material (stainless mesh etc). If its hollow, hooking it up like you said would be as good as not having one.... oil vapours in -> oil vapours out. Yep, I've done so with a suitably sized brass bolt from pirtek. Only thing left to do is hang a filter off the free cam cover pipe or connect it to a vented container. The cam covers can't be blocked off altogether, it needs to be able to release any pressure build up. The engine doesn't need any oil in the intake, we're not driving rotaries here. Macka, adam32 (i think), deesh and myself have diy jobbies. Ask us at the next cruise.
  10. It is compared to a midly tweaked R
  11. Jay95R33, your completley correct. Thats the other way these things can be set up. I don't much car for legalities though, I want no trace of oil vapours (filtered or not) in my intake. The can INASNT has doesn't look like it filters though, the nipples are too close together to do that.
  12. Maybe. Turn the can upside down (so the scew is on the top), remove the screw completely and mount the can like that.
  13. Its not useless, all it needs is an external vent. I'd just drill a few small holes at the top, or you could make an attachment for a filter.
  14. Thats about right, without a vent to atmosphere the catch can won't be doing anything. It'll actually cause problems if its a sealed system, as pressure will build up under the rocker cover similar to when the pcv valve gets blocked. BTW, with only two nipples theres no provision to return oil vapour back into the intake to burn up. I find it indispensable. Really useful for not having oil gumming up the idle control valve, intake manifold and intercooler. Not to mention the knock saving properties of no oil in intake charge.
  15. Autos? Nah, sorry. GTRs are a drivers car foremost, and like any good drivers car, it only comes in manual.
  16. On the contrary. A FMIC did nothng to dull resonse in my previously lethargic mid range, infact, I've never had response so good. I appreciate that your goal is to run good times on the stock intercooker, but that doesn't discount the fact that more power and quicker response is there for the taking with a front mount. Don't get me wrong, I'm with you 100% on pushing the accepted limits. Getting a consistent 1.9 60' will probably prove to be the most challenging part of it. I wish you luck!
  17. Why be lenient? The final infliction is nothing, the journey is where all the fun's at. I have a recipe worked out, but warning, the ingredients may offend. The key: cops won't believe a word of some amputated guy running around OD'ing on lsd.
  18. Oi! I represent that comment
  19. Basic Performance Upgrades. Originally supra-speak, but I'm borrowing it. Pretty much a shorter way of writing exhaust, filter and boost mods. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/ explains it in detail, as well as their other supra-speak nick names (which is getting a little too involved, I think).
  20. Ahhh, you don't need to pm his name to me. I know exactly who the ****sucker is from that description. Always thought he was a dodgey fcuk, after he jokingly threatened to let his dogs loose on us while we (aw11, zepsr20 and myself) were looking at cars around closing time.
  21. Woohoo, back on topic!
  22. Nothing to argue with there
  23. I think aw11 meant push bike vs ae70 corrolla (your future car), would chalk up a win for the push bike  Sounds an awful like your car, don't ya think? The 'line is the total opposite!

I noticed your sig on another thread so I thought I might come to this thread and investigate. Well done! That flywheel helped drop 4/10ths from your ET, I'm impressed! Also to everyone else who ended up with PBs (Rhino, GTS-t VSPEC), good work.
  25. Push bike jokes eh, so this is whats its come down to.
