  1. Performed an enema yet? I hear its quite an experience.
  2. Shrub32, anything that increases volumetric efficiency is going to wear engine. Exhaust mods, installing a bigger turbo and nitrous are all just a means to the same end. Theres nothing inherently dangerous about using NO2 in engines (apart from the exploding bottle thing), any mod that requires more fuel and isn't tuned properly will 'ruin' an engine. Yes, you can stick it on a stock engine and live happily ever after. Like GTS-t VSPEC said, horsepower limits of mechanical components still spply, so no going crazy (150hp+ shots) on stock internals.
  3. Looking good.

18th, or later, I don't mind. I'm a designated passenger now anyhow Pva_Glue, don't worry about the parents. The need for a cushy ride and quiet exhausts come with old age (no offence bully, gtrken, r34, and anyone over 30 ) . Just appreiciate these things while you still can
  5. yeah whats going on, this for a mate/familly member or are you trading in? pva_glue has a na gts4 (coupe) for sale, btw.
  6. Thats damn cool. Now, if they'll just play the opening credits from Buffy...
  7. And thats where it counts . Note the position of 1/4 mile racing on Doug Hayashi's Pyramid of Speed.
  8. I didn't do 5-8 hard stops but I think my usual driving style would have bedded them in well. I haven't tried adhesive although I was thinking about it. It didn't make any difference for you so I'm not sure if I'll bother. I've had them in since the 1st week of September and they've taken a decent amount off the rotor. I'm pretty sure these chew the disc faster than Ultimates, but that could just be me threshhold braking too much. Would have been difficult with Ultimates because they fade so much faster. These pads are great at doing their job, but next time around I may try a slightly less harsh compound (on the ears and the rotors) from RaceBrakes for street use.
  9. WASSABI, join the club I've confirmed with the department of infringements that we don't have this option in WA. Wished we did though
  10. Yeah, it bogged down on the start but picked itself up and screamed off. Made some bad noises half way down the track and gave off a puff of smoke towards the end of the track. Word through the grapewine is a busted gearbox and engine. The scuff marks on the front bumper were there when it turned up, so not related to the drag run. I have its run on video if anyone here (or from speedworks) is interested in seeing it. What did it munch before?
  11. heh. I'm with Steve, keep your chin up and all that. I'm still going to trailer the car to track events, so the government can fcuk off if they think they're teaching me a lesson.
  12. Balls of steel Driving under suspension is $600 and a further 9 months. Thats enough to keep me honest.
  13. Pva_Glue, I might take you up on the representation offer Yeah, suspension through loss of points. I enquired about the 1 point deal but it doesn't exist in WA. NSW and Vic a get 1 point/1 year deal, but we get shafted. 12 wks will fly by. The bulk of it falls in holidays so it shouldn't affect me too much.
  14. I run RB74s on the front too, and yeah, the squeals are ear shriekingly loud sometimes I don't mind too much though, theres always a trade off when choosing pads. How do you find them in other respects? I like them a lot over the Ultimates they replaced.
  15. Dammit pva, why couldn't you tell us this *before* I left for camping . It'll be 12 wks before I next cruise with you guys.
  16. Luxury sports baboon or not, 1750kg is too heavy for me. I can't wait till people start modifying these. I hear their manual gearbox is pretty close to its torque handling limits...
  17. This is the best news I've heard all day. Finally, and end to the influx of R33s onto our shores and, hopefully, slower depreciation. Woohoo!
  18. Dude, you ran a flat 13! I'd call that a worthwhile upgrade.
  19. I know of one toss-monkey who thinks its real cool threating to sue people if things aren't going their way. If, as I suspect, being a moron is passed on genetically, then theres a good chance their parents would sue if their braindead spawn was to kill themselves while on a cruise. Its sad, but some assclowns think they're in the US, land of frivolous law suits.
  20. What you really said: I spotted the possible confusion from a mile away, so I defined "properly tuned" to mean setup in conjunction with fuel control. Nice. Same sort of gain I got. And if you had "properly tuned" the s-afc to suit, there should have been another 20+ hp hiding in there.
  21. I know you don't want to hear this, but... for the love of god, don't jump around like a kid before christmas day and pull a gr33dy on him . As for the other suggestions of more staff etc, I like that the workshop cause is modest looking and straight to the point. I like that theres no doofus staff to get in the way. I like that I speak directly to the person who'll be doing the work. And I like that fact Barrie is a tuning legend. Let the man work
  22. A properly tuned FMIC (FMIC + fuel control) should give 30+ hp. I'll confirm that, so will Barrie at Barries Dyno and Steve at SST.
  23. dori, squeetle, very mature. A real good effort. GR33DyMANGO, I'm a customer foremost.
  24. Bugger. Meracat should be in the 2001cc - 3060cc class then , not 3401cc - 4500cc. So really, they goofed. */me points fingers and passes the blame* The classes, btw, look like they are worked out based on [cc of engine] for N/A and [cc] x 1.5, if forced inducted.
  25. PSIKO, I wouldn't compare AdamQ's and mackas/adam32s figures with rob77s casue they were all on different dynos. If the figures of the others cars at the dyno day fitted in, I'd put it down to another high reading dyno. But the thing is, all the other cars have reasonable readings (I think), but robs doesn't fit in with them. The title on the bar graph that says "Compensated Power"... reads like compensated for drivetrain loss to me. Hicks, true enough about 4wd/2wd, but checkout the figure for the other R33 25t that was there. Not trying to beat you down here rob, just want to help you get a reasonable figure.
