  3. haha What are the ways to see how lean I'm running it?
  4. Hi gents, I'm in need of assistance having a little problem with fuel pump atm (so I've been told), need answers to the following questions: - does it die gradually? or just dies and no fuel delivered to the engine? - what are the symptoms of a faulty fuel pump? - what's the capacity of the stock fuel pump (ie. liters/hour) - thinking of replacing with a Walbro GSS342 - 165lt/h ~ 475hp - good choice? (intentions for the car - no more than 14psi boost - R33 S2) Thanks in advance.
  5. do you mean headlights or blinker/fog lamp units?
  6. pm me if you have one
  7. Col-GTSX, I agree! if only i could afford some rays or volks
  8. i was looking around everywhere for spacers, prices vary a lot the best price i could find was here -> http://www.justjap.com/parts_nhubs.htm - got 4 of them
  9. Col-GTSX, Just looks afraid to say wheels (+45 offset) were way to deep inside the guards before spacers were installed... but afterall handling should have improved with having wider wheel base.
  10. Who has spacers? - me What size are they? - 20mm Floaters or actual bolt in ones? - bolt on What car is it on? - r33 s2 What is the law in QLD? - take a guess i would recommend getting 25mm at least (easy to fit). on mine i had to take about 5mm off of each stud, all 20 of them that was exciting. as per handling and high speed stability they are great (not sure about some ppl say their car shakes and stuff - do proper wheel alignment!) the only thing now is my wheels + spacers make an offset of +25 so i can't lower the car as much as some ppl do without rolling the guards, but im happy with the way it is now included a few pic of them on (also have photos of car before and after, pm me if interested)

  17. nice one mate, was very interesting to read. one question though... if you put a manual boost controller, what do you have to do to disable that dual stage boost control thing you were talking about??
  18. boys and girls, does anyone know what type of bulbs and how many are there on the back of a r33 dash? i want to replace the original ones with led bulbs. unfortunately it's a bit of a journey to find out myself as you have to take the dash out to have a look... does anyone have a dash to just quickly check or knows what the bulbs are?? your input is highly appreciated. ps. if anyone has or can get some photos of the bulbs that would be awesome! thanks.
  19. you can also get studs from nissan for $4.40 each
  20. i guess my recommendation would be to find a person who can connect up a diagnostic computer to YOUR car, read the reading and understand them so then they will tell you what's wrong with the car... becuase rough idle can be caused by many things as many people said, in my case it was O2 sensor but on another skyline it could be dirty something or rather etc etc.
  21. the guy was quite honest about what he was doing. i saw what readings he was getting on his diagnostic computer before, it was showing the O2 sensor readings 0.01~0.03 and that's not right - i also have r33 engine manual that confirms that O2 sensor should be giving out something like this 0.3~1.0 from what i can remember. also one other sensor was always saying 'rich' where it should be changing to 'lean' when the car was reved... i know for a fact that when i came in my car was stalling here and there, i saw the guy installing the O2 sensor (no hidden magic there) and when i drove out of the garage 20 mins later, the car was running perfect... thanks for your feedback though
  22. hey all, i am happy to say that the problem has been fixed, my car is running very smooth now, very happy with it. the O2 sensor has been replaced for $250 - and it's definitely worth it. if you are in qld gold coast see tony from adrenalin imports 5591 2444
  23. hey guys, just thought let you know, i went down to get my car checked out by some professionals this morning... the guy connected the computer to my car and a few minutes later he told me that my car was running rich and my O2 sensor was stuffed. getting it done on wednesday morning - $250 the guy told me that the probability that this is the problem is very high, so i am hoping this will fix it... will keep you updated...
  24. not quite sure what factory ecu reset, but have disconnected the battery and pressed on brake pedal for 2 mins, people say that helps but didnt do much for me... it also comes and goes, sometimes it's ok, sometimes just stalls when slowing down to the traffic lights or when parking...
