sometimes people dont pay respect to others. and try to make point that they always right and you always WRONG! after my miss scratched someone else car, we leave the details on that car, and we paid for the repair. you have to pay what you had done.

Exporters From Japan
BNR#$ replied to Informer's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
do it before will be safe. about the shipping charge, depending on the size of your car, a supra cost around 1200AUD to send from yoko to fremantle. around 1090AUD for a s13. keep in mine, that the shipping cost is depending on the US dollar, they convert from US to JPN. get a quote for the US dollar as well. plus the land transport between bri to melb will not cheap. it's always better to find a carrier that can unload the car in your neariest port. K=line will be your best selection. AND it's end of year, the spaces are normally fully booked, they will charge you more if you want your car shipped -

Need Help Importing Evo 7
BNR#$ replied to Hirolla_SpecR's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
for a good EVO7, you are looking around $40k+ on road. but since you own the car in NZ, if you are the australian citizen, do it as a private import, if not, get the cash ready. looking around 10K for everything up. that include shipping, compliance, and rego. -

-
get a fully automatic TT, if you are too lazy to set the time.. TT only used to cool down the turbo, i have a fully functioned HKS that can use to voltage, timer, even quartet mile. but i never use them as i cant be brother..what for?
-
if they are white and normal, then why they brother to take you down? that doesnt make any senses, all the VZ has fog light and they got switch on all the time! if this is the JZX90 chaser they have yellow fog light in between, then they can give you a ticket for it.....
-
when i did mine, i cant be brother to grill a hole on the cover, as i might keep it when i sell my car. only tapped as much as i can, and i didnt do the relay...doggy backyard DIY. and the plate the came with kit are metal...not sure if thet cant be earthed... when you switch on you HID, did it flash for a second and start warm up?
-
it depends on the cops, i had cars like supra, legend, levin, silvia, they all have yellow lights next to high beam, and i switch on all the time and passed cop cars "N" times, and they never give me any trouble. or play in the safest way, swap the yellow lbubble with normal white and you never have any troubles. a lot of silvia owners does it to stay away from trouble.

Importing Without A Broker
BNR#$ replied to raz0r$harP.UK's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
if you are going to import a car yourself, prepare to wait for more thn 3 months. start from if you already found the car you want, apply for the import approval, if you arent sure about if your car will approved or not, wait untill you received the approval letter, then ask your agent to load the car to the ship. the storage charge is not cheap in AUS port, plus you can have free rust spray. and chance of something missing. also another thing that if you want to save money, do the custom paperwork by youself, normally some one will help you work out the loge mannual entry, and make sure you have other paper work ready for this. such as T/T, invoice, approval. it takes around 24 hrs, and you will receive phone call from custom, they will also tell you the amount that you have to pay. arrange AQIS to inspect the car. get your credit car or bank cheque ready, it's better to ring before hand to make appiontment. or more important thing! ask your shipping agent who is holding the car and location, sometime your car handle by P&O or steverdoor (spelling). arrange the port entry. make sure your are there early, get the key, locate your car, do some small clean,(it is illegal) but sometime save you a lot of trouble! if you pass, a paper and AQIS stamp will let you get your car out of port, if not, arrange a clean agent....and that is a nasty thing. by doing this you can save around $300, but you have to spend around 3 days to doing this, it's not a full 3 day, but may be few hours here and there... sometimes i wonder why i brother with that 300 bucks -
