lol . May i ask what your tacho is at when at 260km/h. My R33GTS-T is limited to 180km/h and thats doing about 5000rpm in 5th gear.

The answer for me was spark plugs, The bastard who i brought it off said he just changed them, but the mechanic said they were probably the original plugs that came with the car. put in some cheap copper plugs and gapped them at .8mm No more missfire for Justin !!!

Carmen imports at Brendale just quoted me $500 for timing belt replacement, $1000 for timing belt and tensioners, seals etc. Then he said $350 for spark plugs, oil, oil filter and fuel filter, sounds a bit steep eh people ?

horrifying stuff, to bad we don't live in some parts of the USA where capital punishment is legal. I've got the same car in brissy with an immobiliser so I'm scared.

Just taped up the coil packs, but didn't fix the problem, will change spark plugs next, probably been about 30,000km's since they were changed.

Had my gtst R33 S2 (stock) for 2 years and first got this problem tonight dragin a VT v8 commodore home ffrom work, we both put our foots down and I just got stuttering from the engine at 4000rpm, hope its the same problem as the rest of u, so its an easy fix.

"There are 4 13mm bolts and 2 13mm nuts holding the dump pipe on, you will need to hop back under the vehicle to gain access to the to nuts which are relatively easy to get to and get loose" Tried installing mine today, cat, and cat back exhaust was a breeze, but the dump and front pipe is tricky, i took the yurbo heat sheild off, but trying to get to the bolts holding the dump and the turbo together are tricky, I'll give it another go, after that i'm taking it down the shop!!!!

I've just noticed my r33 dosn't have a scissor jack in the boot. Every other car i've seen does. Do they come with a standard jack and mine has been taxed somewhere down the line ??

I'm taking it to a power steering specialist, they said they'll try and repair the pump, if they can't, they'll replace it. yay

theres always a bit of noise, when moving the steering wheel it is loud, when at full lock it is louder. This happens when the car is moving or not. I'm pretty sure its the power steering pump, can ya fix em or do i have to get another one ?

My GTST25's power steering is making some aweful noise, i'm sure its the power steering pump cause the belts and the fluid is fine. Any advice on where I can get the pump fixed/replaced ? I'm on the northside. Has anyone else had this problem ?
