Anyone know of reputable engine expert that will work on my RB26 and do a good job???? Mine Just spun a baring and I am desparate to get it fixed and to know it was done right.

I've managed to spin a rod baring in my R32 GTR and have been quoted what I think is way to much for repair $4000k. This is the figure for baring replacement, with (if needed) new rod and cam shaft machining costing an additional $1500. Ooouuuch. Can anyone tell me if this requires engine removal to fix?? Can anyone tell me of a solid reputable Jap engine shop that would quote a more realistic price???

Anyone got any suggestion on where to buy a complete set of all the major intake and exhaust hoses for an R32 GTR with FMIC. Whats best to use and how much should I expect to pay? Sydney area

It's for an R32 GTR so pod(s), why do I need an air box?? Why not just the pods?

I want to change my air filter from a stock box to a pod filter, is there any problems I should be aware of??

Here's my new car, love it. Hicas warning light keeps comming on though about 60 seconds after start up and stayes on. Drives fine. I've been told it's the mod exhaust causing higher than normal heat. Is this true???

Can anyone give any reasons for the Hicas warning light to be almost constantly on. Comes on about 60 seconds after starting and stays on. Everything feels fine and have been told that the modified exhaust could be setting it off due to higher than normal heat????

Cheers RellikZepher, I have a boost guage that measures KG/CM2 and am registering 0.5. Seems low. The standard guage is only hitting the mark between 0 and 7. Feels a little soft. Any further info would be great. Go the R32's

Just joined the proud Skyline owners club with an R32 GTR. All is standard except the exhaust and I want to know what boost pressure I should expect to see. Can anyone tell me???
