  1. thats pretty bad, dunno if u could fix it so it would look good. id go buy another roof liner(second hand from a wrecker) what car is it for?
  2. Doing any modifications to ur car is defectable because it is changing what the manufacturer inteded. Meh that isnt going to stop anybody from modifying their cars. stuff like that you just have to take a gamble, just do it neatly and they shouldnt pick up on it.

  5. JC_R32 The cold start solenoid is located under the intake plume cross over pipe (between the intake and the rocker cover) you may need to push some wires/pipes out of the way. Its a square thing with tubes going into it. I got a brand new one from japan through my mechanic that cost $190. could try and get a second hand one but usually they are f**ked with the same problem
  6. can those otomotto's (with four pineapples) be used ii drag,drift,all round applications, by swaping them around?

  8. dude i never drive my car cold thats not what i said I said thats its still wierd reving after like ten mins of warm up time Also im just saying that any body could drive their car at like 20kph when cold yea? Mine doesnt even do that. u know what i mean

  11. OK What the problem is there is a door in ur air conditioning under the dash. When you press cold the door opens and cold air from ur airconditioning system comes out. When you press hot it closes the door on the cold and lets hot air come through. That little arm thst moves the door isnt moving, the cold door is closed hense hot air on my r32 i had the same problem but if i held down the cold arrow it would go into "FC" mode this was the only thing that made the cold air door open i dunno if its the same on r33's
  12. Ok The car is a nissan skyline R32 GTS-T (no modifications) When its cold it cant be driven untill the temperature needle starts to go up. What it does is this: If you slowly push the gas pedal and the revs will hold on 1100RPM and it wil struggle to go any higher Its like is got a flat spot. If you give it abit more it will get over that flat spot and will go higher in RPM. As you can imagin it would make it a pain to drive. Once its warm its fine and this "flat spot" magically dissapears! My friends R32 doesnt do this (although its bad to not warm up ur car, he can gun it from the word go, no flat spot) Where as i have to sit there and warm it up so it dont drive like sh#t. Any help would be great Cheers Matt
  13. if you car idles at like 1500rpm. and it hunts for revs its you cold start solenoid. Get a new one and your problem is fixed
  14. Ok guys i know how to fix this issue. I tried everything to fix this problem on my R32 What i did was: - Changed TPS - Cleaned ACC valve - Changed AAC valve - Cleaned AFM - Changed AFM (tested with RED top and SILVER top engines) - Changed fuel filter - Changed oil - Played around with the idle screw - Cleaned out throttle body+butterfly - Cleaned plugs and re-set em - Checked for vacume leak NONE of this worked at all!!!, i was spewing. But finally i was looking around the engine bay and spotted the COLD START SOLENOID. I got a new Cold Start Solenoid from my mechanic and it was fixed!!!!! Finally!!!!!. It doesnt hunt for revs anymore, and it doesnt idle high. It purrs like a kitten. PS: I talked to my mechanic and he said that skylines engines are pretty prone to stuffing up the Cold Start Solenoid. This would be ur problem too. Id start there ASAP cos you dont wana go shitten around trying stuff that dont work, like i did. Hopes this helps you guys, Matt
  15. ive got the same problem with mine. Ive done everything with no luck it could be the idle step up valve motor that has shat itself

  19. Hows it going guys, ok have any of u guys heard of "Black Pearl" when talking R31 coupes? What does it mean? Recently ive heard heaps of this "Black Pearl" stuff what is it its driving me nutz. if any bodys got the new drift battle mag there is a r31 drifting on page 91, the pics are 29 and 30 Does any body know?
  20. just wondering what this noise could be when ever i change gears and take the clutch out the diff clunks and the same goes when i take my foot off the gas to slow down (not using brakes) It didnt do this when it was auto, could it be that the tailshaft is loose from the recent coversion from like 1 week ago? Or is the diff stuffed? Cheers guys
