given 91 ford laser(thrash bucket) first bought car= current R33

when i bought my car, it had a pod fitted and i was defected(nice 2hours after buying the dam thing) and he said it changed emmissions...but im not running a map sensor not afm... all i did was go and have it engineered and now its fine...not in a box(altho im getting one to reduce heat soak) havnt bn pulled over yet so not sure how that route would go... wasnt cheap but i was having some other mods done anyway

hey guys....thanks for the input... We ended up gettin them in there, no cutting of the metal under the parcel shelf... not sittin real pretty right now but working well(sitting bout 3cm above the shelf) but after ended up trimming the shelf to fit them i think ill just go and find some pods to install with them...sounds great tho lol....

i found that when i first moved to newy was gettin alot of waves, so i joined in on the action... now not so much, but i usually do...just cos im that guy. Least you know if someone waves they'v prolly read this lol Bring back the wave!!!

Just picked up some clarion 6x9s for my 33....done a few installs before but not sure how to approach this one... Still has nissan speaker holders in the back for 6" but having trouble getting them out... anyone done this install and have a guide??? thanks

i have a link ecu in my S1 R33 with a map sensor, works fine far as i know. I do know that when i got defected...i didnt have an AFM and as the car came with one stock, i needed one to get my engineers cert for pod filter. i had to go and get a AFM so that they could take a picture showing I had one installed...( which was borrowed from a work shop off a VL and fake wireing lol) altho they do the same thing, they think/"say" it changes the emmisions output of your car from stock...

are there any newy cars going? we should try and meet up before driving to sydney...also i dunno where im going lol.....now in 100%

haha wev just figured out to do the same thing, havnt lost any water yet, letting it cool now, so we will know in the next bit... luckly its not cold out today lol

ok after driving this arvo (rad took 3.5lt water to fill) it drove ok babying it every where. Got home and noticed i was getting steam condensation comming from my window vents to the windscreen. my gf's dad took a quick look, and there was heat comming from the vents and my passenger side floor was damp, and looking up under i could see water with green(coolant colour) leaking from up under the dash. We thought it might be a heater core leak or bust, and that would be draining the radiator as it would be pulling coolant/water thru the heater core, leaking thru one of the hoses which was causing teh fluid to drain under the car, but has no gotten worse causing it to leak into the cabin of the car??? Anyone had this problem??? and any idea/DYI on how to fix or diag this problem???? will be trying to fix this tomorrow so any help asap would be great guys

yeah i have a hks one with duel mufflers, its not as loud as alot of other still has a great note

deff the exhaust, you will notice the power alot more than a fmic. My car had a cat back when i bought it with fmic, ran 10psi, went well.After we fitted the front pipe there was a much bigger power gain. I also belive that a fmic will reduce thottle response with the stock exhaust???

well i have noting constructive to add except thats a huge trim! lol who ever installed mine didnt trim the front bar, they trimmed the front cross member so it sat inside the front bar!! mines a S1 so I dont have air bags but if it did they would be usless!

hey guys, not bn the most mechanical of persons, i know i have a crack in my radiator some where and am about to have it fixed. But today I was driving(not hard) and noticed my temp gauge was up at 3/4. worried id cook the engine i only had to drive another 500m and was doing 45kms in 5th lol and it droped in temp to just above normal. I stopped and popped the hood and my overflow tank was litterly boiling, and was at say 3/4 max when i left only about 10kms before. Just wondering what the hell is going on and what to do!!
