I have just had my head ported & polished, (Looks unreal) But i am unsure as to how to put the head back on. ( i know how to put it back on, But i dont know the order to bolt the head down and the right tension required for each bolt) I have also bought a $300 steel head gasket and dont wont to f@rk it, by taking the head on and off. Any pics on how to bolt it down and in what order would be great, thanks guys.

MILD STEEL: Heavier, Rust's, Not as noisy, slightly more durable than stainless in certian condiotions (due to its thickness). STAINLESS: Doesnt weigh as much, doesnt rust, a little louder, Just as durable as mild steel. Mild steel exhausts preffer to live in dryer/hot conditions were wet roads dont exist. (when water/moisture hits a hot mild steel exhuast day after day, youl be lucky to see a couple of years out of it. Hope this helps. Stick with the sainless!

Pics would be ideal.

Take the exhaust off the magna! and il take the exhaust off the charade! Then we will mount footpaths and chase oldschool altona grandmas walking there maltese terriers!
-
When putting the head back on, what order do you put the bolts in? And how much Torque do you use?
-
Now i hammer through geelong with no exhaust! Zdenko, i miss the good old days! once i get everything back on the car i will come down there for like a week! And all we will do is do wog laps through altona & willi, go VL munching. SHHHIIICKKKKk. Then after all of that we will do some syncronized burnouts down the esplanade! :shake:
-
Trust me man, After we setup, with these turbos. good for a 10 sec pass. Man if you get a VL you will regret it. I love VLs too man, but really if you weigh everything up man, handleing, interior, transmissions, running gear, LLOOKKS. Man you wont be getting any prreemm little wog luttas in a VL. Only little hairy lebos. :shake: Keep the 33~!!!!

ECR-33 Its blue/silver 2 tone, cause thats my beasht. And my mate jason/ bugandy and i done that burnout at shagaz. LOL did you guys get harrassed by the cops as well? He would of been a old cop? (Greyiesh hair?) his names peter. For the last 3 weekends i have told him there have been skyline cruzes through geelong, and one of the meeting points is the maccas!!! He is a nice bloke, he tryed dragging at a set of lights once in town! :burnout: And i see a fair bit of this RRRR 33 guy, i heard he spent like 6K on the motor and stuff?? is he on the forums?
-
Dont get me wrong GR8NES, thats a mad deal, on your head bro. But am i not asking this for me. For a freind whos building a VL, hes putting a RB25DET head on a RB30. And he has given me a budget of between 200-300. If you are willing to take 350-400 i think he might consider it. However if you are to sell your head to a wrecker i can allmost gurantee he wont give you more than 200-250 bucks for it.
-
I am just looking for a stock Rb25DET head, nothing else. Looking to spend around $200-$250 mark.

Yeh!! thats me and mick, he was driving a marron GTS auto. (peice of shit) The "skyline" part of mine would of been light up?? Close to the set of lights? Should have stoped and said hi! =)

Yeh for sure!!!! when my cars finished il post a geelong meet. Man theres like 6 R33's in Torquay!! I just moved from melb to torquay, and man i shit myself. Skylines are Everywere! Iam usally down at eastern beach in geelong about 8:00ISH - 9:00ish, I drive a freshly sprayed R33 GTST two tone (Blue/silver), with mags, apexi zorst, running 13 ponds, BOV, boost gauge, with blue rice lightes (On inside of car) :shake: So if you see me round say hi! (by the way iam trev) dont scream JNR24!!! Cause the boys will bash me!
-
Thanx bro! I knew i seen it somewere!

NISMO CLEAR INDICATORS, R33. for around 80Bucks. ( I remember seeing them on a website, but i cant remember witch one. If anyone knows please tell me!) Cheers.
-
Man no shit, do what i did. Buy a clapped up 3 cylinder charade to get you to work. Man i get 600KMS to a tank, and it cost $25 to fill!!! Then on your way to work, you can hit shopping trollys and those rebounding reflectors !. Makes that driv to work sooo much more funn... :shake:
-
man no offence, but most skyline drivers in geelong are to stupid to use the net! :shake: I have come accross like 2 people on this forum that are from geelong. ive got about 3 mates in geelong that all drive nice skylines, but none of them know how to turn on a pc. (nice cars though) We should organise something, but i wont be able to as my car is coming off the road in the next 3 days. (doing a huge amount of work to it to get it all nice and ready for next summer) so it looks like youl just have to make regular trips to melb to meet up with the boys!

Thanx very much whatsisname! Il post some feedback once i put it in!

Iam from torquay, I own a blue R33, and theres another R33 Burgandy color. we should organise all the geelong skyline peoples for a meet. THeres a few getting around. One night there was about 15X R33s & R32s that met at maccas. then we kinda went for a cruise upto "rooters!" were you there?

See its just a weighing game.... Between Driveability, Power, and "Grab". (And price) See you want a clutch thats gona bite, but you also dont want whiplash everytime you change gears. And you also have to weigh up how much KW your car has so you dont get a clutch thats going to get raped with 6000RPM Launches at 350KW at the FLywheel!! =) and just get striped. So i guess, theres gona be no best Clutch, just a good clutch for your situation and what you need. By the way i found a good clutch boys! its a Heavy Duty Cushioned Ceramic Button Clutch. Good for 275-300KW at the wheels, and because of the cushioned design that reduces the quick bite on release of the clutch, it makes it far more streetable than your average Sprung/Solid brass button clutch. its a single plate design and sells for about $750 Retail. how can you go wrong!!. :uh-huh: Thanks for your help guys! :shake:
