    lights on dash

Zdeno, One of those wires shoudld be 12V+, and the other should be ground?? Try a Multimeter, (Or one of those screwdriver light thingys that light when theres power) And just see if theres power there. If there isnt, then look at all your fuses!! ( On your car, Under hood, Under dash, & in da boot. Might have to move the subxors!) If this doesnt work stick a 9V battery (little square one! :shakes: ) in the line, this should make them light up a little bit. If it doesnt then your globes are blown, this either means that you have replaced the factory recommended fuses with heavey guage mario fuses. and youve busted the globes, or your the 1 in 100,000 who has a faulty resistance on one of those fuses and your globes have packed up, insted of your fuses! if you still have this problem, il come down and have a look.
  8. By the way, heres some of my links that i have acumulated over the last 6 months or so: SUB ZERO PERFORMANCE - Pretty reasonable prices, Based in Brisy though. HIKARI PERFORMANCE - Genral import Performance parts Taka Kaira - Performance imports Straight from Japan / Expensive JAPANESE MOTOR SPORT- Import Wrecker in japan, gets some good stuff! PERFECT RUN - Not bad....bit expensive JAPAN PARTS - Genral import parts here might be a good start?
  9. Hey guys, I am sure that theres some really good Performance workshops in victoria that people goto to get certain parts. So why not help some people out (like myself) who are looking for parts and post some links/contacts to sites/people they may have been to or spoken too (In victoria or close interstate) And make sure we get some specelised performance places in here as well. eg, places that do headwork, polishers, turbo places, exhaust places, panel beaters/sprayers, part importers, transmission places (For Zdenko, who just thought that 4th gear would look good lying on the road! :shake:), and any other genrals like Car Audio places, good dynos tuning places, and wreckers. LoL CHeers boys!!!
  10. A couple of possabilitys here: 1. Does it sound like Air squealing out? (rubber hose?) vacum type sound? 2. Or more of a rubber on metal sqealch? if it sounds like no 1; Check all your intake rubbers & seals, make sure all clips are tight. (keep in mind that this leak might not be noticable, but under presure or vacume it might open, a split or pinhole in a rubber seal somewere, or even pipping .) After you have checked everything under the hood, it might pay to take your front bar off and check your intcooler and intercooler piping. If you car is running higher than factory boost, it could be possable that there is a slight "stress" fracture in your cooler or some of the pipping. basicly check everything air travells through. If it sounds like number 2; Go down to repco, or somthing and buy some CRC Belt-Grip and spray it on all your belts (Not too much otherwise it will make a whining/supercharger sound). this will establish weather it is infact a worn belt or, a worn part that the belt runs. eg powersteering, ac etc. if it still makes a whining sound, its then a process of elimination: look for worn components under the bonnet. eg leaky power steering?, is there a way that oil can leak onto a belt? Does it still make the noise with your A/C on & off?? Also it might pay to check your timing belt. ( DONT SPRAY THIS BELT WITH BELT SPRAY!! =) Good luck & Hope this helps.

    Which Bov?

That Vooooodudududud sound is your turbo backspinning. See when you close your throttle, your turbo is still spining creating excess compressed air in the intake manifold. Once this air cant compress anymore in the intake, it then the air moves backwards, (back through the intercooler, and out your airfilter.)while your turbo wheels are spinning backwards & forwards really quickly. thus creating that Vooooooouddududu sound These noises sound f*%&n sick, and are relativley harmless on low boost (1BAR & under) but keep in mind nissan has provided the car factory with a BOV for a reason. Mainly to reduced turbo wear & provide Faster spool times between shifts/gears (because the turbo doesnt have to "re-spool" as much between shifts. If i wear you (original person who wants to change BOV), i would purchase a more accurate "plumback" (You dont want attention from the cops, youl get enough just driving a skyline) BOV for further down the track like a G-ready. Stock BOV perform very average after the factory boost setting of 7-9 PSI as the spring tension on the factory BOV is set to open on 7-9PSI. Allthough it will still work after this setting you will find that boost will come on quicker with a aftermarket BOV (like gready) as it will not "leak" boost all the way to 15PSI. (unlike the factory, under 15PSI)
