Hi, I'm still researching a few things about simple tuning. I have a R32 GTR, with casual breather mods, exhaust, air fliter.. People keep telling me that 1 bar isn't too wise for standard r32 turbine, and even suggests a 12psi, .8 barish tune. So is it worth getting a pfc + ebc + tune to .85 bar or so? Is it a noticable difference? Or does it feel the same as stock? Thank you

yea, I was thinking of just keeping it around stock for everyday driving, then just changing it before I really wanna push it. pushing a bar for a few hours everyweek shouldn't be that bad? p.s. is there a noticeable gas mileage difference also? forgot to ask that one before

Hi, just a quick question.. I was thinking of upping my boost to a bar with the pfc, the only other engine related mods I have is exhaust. Is 1 bar noticably different from the stock boost level? thanks

If I were to install a PFC on a normal engine(BNR32) would there be a noticeable response in power. Since I heard on normal turbos 1bar is the max before turbine damage. So say, if I got it tuned to 13 or 13.5 would you say thats safe + resonable power response. Thanks

Let me correct DaiOni on a few bits of bad advice ... (no offence) You've got to be kidding to find a R32 GTR for 50万, if you do find one for that price, it's probably been in accidents, has no shakken, high miles, etc, etc.. after the repair and such, it should run around the 100 mark. Also, 10万 for R32 shakken would be a dream come true. That price is like shakken for a Kei-car, I haven't done my shakken yet but, my friend just did his last week, and he paid 30万 for his car which is just barely under the 2000cc displacement mark. expect to pay more than that for sure. anyways, Frio do you know where you will be living in Tokyo? Does your employer station you somewhere, or can you pick where ever?

to live in Tokyo, Tokyo? AND own a car?! Its a little impractical, you'll find the train system very efficent. My best advice is to live a little outside of Tokyo possibly in Chiba or Kanagawa if you want to own a car in Japan. Then you can have the best of both worlds. So as far as Rent goes, it just depends on what type of place you want to have. In Tokyo you could probably get a small apartment for about ８万 a month, plus about another 3 or 4万 for utilities (ie, phone, internet, heat, water, etc, etc..) Food.. um.. could probably get by on 2 or 3万 a month for 1 person. and now for the car, I just know about R32s since thats what I have, i'm sure prices are more expensive for the 33s and 34s. Car should run you close to or over １００万, that's for finding one in good condition with no accidents, plus new shakken (shakken will cost you about 30 to 40万 every two years or so) , etc, all that good jazz. I got a good deal on insurance, but my friends end up paying about about 4-5万 a month, but their motors are only a little under 2000cc. It's fairly cheap to buy a car here, but owning and maintaining it gets expensive after a while.

just bite the bullet and pay for shipping via post office. If you really want to save your yen get the cheapest shipping method (via boat) it will get there in a few months however. If you think you can fit it all in luggage, you can pay an extra fee to bring extra luggage (over the weight limit) into the hold, however that's fairly expensive as well. hrmm.. I'm not 100% sure, I had a hard time figuring that kanji out. But... what we do know is that the battery was changed, so it's nothing fluid related or the sorts, so don't worry about bad oil or anything. Since you can't really estimate what milage you would need a new battery, I theorize(sp?) that it was changed at that milage. the japanese heisei year 14 is 2002 as we know it, the japanese caldendar is read as follows: (year/month/day). So its been a while... However... I can only see that the battery service box has been ticked, it could possibly have been changed without the help of SuperAutoBacs since then, and nobody has taken the sticker off. But anyways, you will know when you will need a new battery when the time comes P.S. yes it is the battery box
