  1. i might do a boot intake instead... might be more effective i think pretty much done in the rear in terms of tube work.. there's rear 1/4 reinforcement, a jacking point, a rear bash bar, the frame for rad all done. just need to do ducting and fans.
  2. kitto beat me to it. neo rods same length as non neo. As is the pin height on the pistons. in fact the neo piston and non neo piston share all the same dimensions but the neo piston has more cooling passages under it where oil is squirted. its probably lighter also but need to weigh some to confirm. the difference in compression is all in the head.
  3. thats way too low.. does it go up when you do a warm test? i spose its hard to tell if it doesnt even run. has it been like this since it was built? have the correct pistons etc been used to work out the CR? Do a leak down test also
  4. yeah its looking that way... bit of a bitch to get ducting through the two cages legs if i choose the quarter window path haha. if i do it though therear 1/4's im gonna need some custom fibreglass work done... got any suggestions?
  5. rear rad mount and tube frame work has started now.
  6. the issue is with the edge of the belt groove being too high it allows the belt to walk up and then throw off.. i believe ross has since rectified this issue
  7. theres no difference on the top of the piston in terms of valve clearance in comparison to a neo piston
  8. custom trigger can be done for FAR less then 2K as for limiter bashing... its drift.. it happens sometimes.
  9. nitto or any OEM style oil pump isnt bullet proof.. where as external pretty much is bullet proof
  10. new rad for the s14... its a Griffin 700mmx 480mm x 76mm race rad
  11. neo head has smaller CC also dont forget that
  12. i dont see whats so unachievable about a 26 doing 9K rpm when from factory they do 8K. with the right parts and care put into the assembly then there should be zero issues.
  13. thanks mate.. yeah they are tough as rims. but its time for a change

  18. do a leak down test to confirm what it is exactally
  19. 3076 on a 3L is a little too responsive haha, 35r is on the money. plenty top end
  20. slide turbo is just generic rebranded copy turbo mate. get a 35R cheap and make 400 rwkw all day every day
  21. more pics. the roof doesnt have a cross in it mainly due to the fact i wont be able to fit in it since im a tall bastard. so having cage steel hitting helmet is not ideal. the next best we could do was a single bar down the centre, tied in with the roof. also added some more rear bars for extra strength. rear stays are tied to the strut towers for max strength.
  22. its always going to be piss easy to do with a 4cyln engine.. very difficult with an RB if you want to retain ac and the likes.
  23. what oil pressure gauge and sender>?
