  5. hylomar that shit
  6. is the gasket black? if so then its a coating.
  7. I have reused my mls gasket like 5 times now haha
  8. well it helps to get a good condition running motor.. the minute you chuck rings in it you may as well just rebuild it. tolerances are never going to be spot on again
  9. its really so easy to convert to top feed on RB25's.. all you need is a neo or rb26 fuel rail and a few bits and pieces and its a bolt in affair. huge choice of injectors
  10. yup. spend the cash on the support systems not the motor
  11. i run a haltech p1000. would not buy one again and rather a link g4. if your in vic speak to Trent from Chequered tuning (STATUS on this forum) about an ecu best to suit your budget.
  12. the two ecu's we mentioned shit all over the PFC dejetro in terms of features and performance. where you from mate?
  13. either that or Megasquirt latest range.. their set up is amazing
  14. mines limited to 7k rpm, doesn t need to rev anyway as it makes just under 300 rwkw at 4500 rpm haha but yeah finding a good condition rb30 is important.. theres so many thrashed ones that have seen zero maintenance.
  15. for that money i would just get brand new siemens deka 80lb (850cc) injectors.. same amount of work to fit
  16. yeah a kit comes with everything. including a little clamp that you assemble the lead, wire and connector on and clamp it all together in a vice. really simple to do.
  17. yeah just the rear part... its pretty strasight forward when you go to fit the sump to the block and turn the crank over.. it fouls i run a P1000 haltech
  18. generally it pays to go large as possible while being sensible and on a budget. ID1000's and siemens deka's are cheap as for example. and true non neo will live with that power... but theres nothing like a tuned neo engine.. they simply rule with their higher CR and ability to rev hard Your ecu and loom sadly wont be compatible
  19. i was making 360 rwkw with nistuned r34 ecu, no boost sensor plugged in and zero issues (threw up plenty fault codes when laptop connected tho)
  20. nah its 2-3mm just to clear the crank. easy to do
  21. its not a fuel cut.. its boost cut. the sensor tells the ecu when its going over 12 psi and then the ecu protects the engine by cutting it to prevent over boost. so with it connected you pretty much cant run over 12 psi.
  22. the stock manifold wont be a choking point at 300 rwkw.. it will do just fine.. its pretty proven. i wouldnt wast time and money building an enging. just buy a mint condition neo engine and do a 3076 ex gated with a adaptor between turbo and manifold for the gate. run the gate low and plumb it back for street. the money spent building a motor could be spent on ID1000's, vipec, ethanol sensor and setting it all up to run duel fuels with maps that adjustaccording to the ethanol content any time. a neo is a strong as engine. i made 360 rwkw on a stock motor and it was thrashed hard at the track.
  23. One at front is on intake side
