im pretty sure its a vac leak also... However i cant for the lifew of me find it, ive pulled most hoses off and checked them out for cracks and holes, most of the vac hoses look fine. resetting ecu didnt do diddy squat either

tried that, and wiggled wires, and checked for diagnosics codes.. all normal there...

anyone? need to solve this bloody thing lol

thats it, awesome upgrade for those who want a bit more poke then the rb20 turbo. Konnect: still going strong mate i sold the ceffy tho

i cleaned the aac valve, put it back in, wound the idle screw all the way in so it was closed, and had the solenoid disconnected, and its still idling high, plugging the solenoid back in doesnt bring it back down, it seems almost like a vac leak from somewhere as i puilled off a vac line from the manifold and the revs didnt raise anymore

both are ceramic however the s1 has a steel compressor wheel where as the s2 has a nylon compressor wheel. this doesnt affect anything really. the series two's are suppose to be more responsive.

after 30 mins of using the search function i found a pretty useful guide on cleaning it up. i'll give it a go tomorrow!

all of a sudden the car is idling at 2000 rpm, and sometimes when you start it it fluctuates from 1000 to 2000 rpm in a cycle and then settles on a high idle... Car still runs fine and boosts fine. Appears to be using more fuel then normal too. So far i cannot find any vac leaks or wiring issues. Where should i start looking for faults? Car is R32 RB20det Cheers Simon

anyone else running one of those highflows from slide? they sounds pretty good!! im keen to try one out. Would an RB25 highflow on a RB20det produce similar numbers to say... a HKS2530? cheers

hey ive got a question! Will 17X9.5 koya Drift Tek's in GTR offset fit a R32 4 door or not? guard lipping is done, but will more then that be needed to make them fit?

no they are premium plates in SA, can get them in slimline or larger (jap style) type plates

bloody hell how about filing the plasting aligners off? did you think of that? all they are for is so you cant fit the wrong plug (say an idle control plug) onto an injector.

steering shakes at full lock are caused by the tie rod/tie rod end and the mount on the hub being pretty much straight... this in turn flexes back and forth and becomes very hard to bring back from full lock.

just watch out for the full lock/angle steering shakes lol
