  5. just got home from Sydney... too tired to write much will fill you all in tomorrow. for now heres some pics. in short.. dog box fkn rules.. and so does the power haha
  6. you'd be surprised how quickly you can use it up. i have a 11L tank atm for just intercooler and it will drain tthat in just a few mins so i have to use it here and there in a session
  7. yeah it would work well... might still do it yet. the boot mounted rad idea is shaping up to be an expensive task. might make a 20L water container for the boot that does both rad and intercooler and be done with it haha
  8. D22's are the worst
  9. yeah think it was the air buffering around the camera
  10. or run a RB30 R31 fan hub and clutch fan combo. easy done
  11. heres some facts Vl hub takes a different fan bolt pattern. VL hub will fit SR20 fan and the new GKtech aftermarket fans but not any rb fan (other then the rb30 the VL has) just about every aftermarket supplier sells these hubs R31 fan hub takes ANY rb fan, is shorter then RB20 and doesnt have external spring on it. very hard to get one of these aftermarket due to everyone sending out a VL hub. I just kept going to wreckers and grabbing 5 r31 hubs and then using the best one. you can run two combos for best cooling... a r31 hub with an 11 blade latemodel RB25 fan or a VL hub with the GKtech fan. both will flow large amounts of air.
  12. its something we've discussed yeah... might happen. tho we'd sell the kit minus box.
  13. yeah man i'll have vids up soon. only driving the box has done so far is on the dyno. made 395 rwkw so its going to get a decent test haha
  14. I'm still well ahead of what a ppg would have cost
  15. ok got it all in and up and running... was a bit of a headache but well worth it. parts needed 3/4 bore master quarter master hydraulic release bearing with custom made bearing extension to sit the bearing closer to the clutch bellhousing gearbox custom tailshaft (i modified the front section of the stock s14 shaft, length is almost the same) yoke is Turbo 400 32 spline output shaft.. its huge! custom gearbox crossmember clutch (i used NPC rb clutch but with the spline changed to Chev 26 spline input shaft) custom spigot bearing ( machined one up to suit the auto spigot area in the crank and protrudes out
