you have a 1jz but considering an RB25 for more power? i guess you just need to do some research mate, the 1jz is regarded as one of the best straight 6's on the market, can make an easy 300 rwkw + with stock bottom end, possibly more with good tuning!

cheers guys, yeah ive been to rory before, charges a bit much for my liking, ive heard that there are intrusion bar kits available? any more info on these? i will just try and borrow all the stock items needed and try my luck i reckon, the only bit i really need is the intrusion bars!

guy i know is doing a 1jz into ceffy in adelaide atm.... should be ok once its done, once the workshop finishes it that is *rollseyes* im thinking i might just do a 25 conversion on mine, either that or a big f**k off turbo for the 20

no, your not suppose to apply force to the threaded section at all!

the correct way of getting ball joints out is not by hitting the threaded section with a hammer but rather the side of the cast arm, hit the side of it hard and suddenly with a decent weighted hammer, the impact looses the taper and it just falls out, also with no damage to the thread or nut

thanks mate thats the biggest help! now... since this car will bwe registered 60 KMs away from adel GPO, whats the story there, it wont need to visit regency at all, just the local cop shop. hopw much leway do i have?

whats the benifits of 5 stud conversions OTHER THAN wheel choice?

so yeah.. looks like im joining the ranks of the ceffy owners... buying a drift set up ceffy, nothing too crazy but with the right gear, it has import approval and what not and when it gets to adelaide i want to comply and register it aso i can drive the bloody thing. can people give me a detailed rundown on what exactaly needs to be fitted to comply it? also, in regards to the side intrusion bars, i rather not fork out the 1000 thats needed to get them put in, is there a way (dodgy) around getting it registered without? since they dont check under the door trims. fill me in guys. if people in adelaide are able to lend me the required stock parts that would be awesome!
