  1. if your doing that why rebuild at all? stock nissan pistons will do that easy!

  4. nah its some bits and pieces of mild steel i had lying merging into a 4" straight bit of stainless haha. goes alright for a stock rb30 ey
  5. yeah i usually do it with the engine upside down on the stand,. so much easier to work on and take sump on and off.
  6. absolutely brilliant! front are a bit on the soft side, going to send the inserts back to get them revalved then i reckon it will be dialed!
  7. have been thinking about building a 10.5-11;1 CR rb30, would be mint for response and e85 loves compression. i'd use a 1.06 rear housing also to free up the turbine side. but then i just go why bother, my stocker 30e with 26 head just works so well, revs to 7400 and takes 25 psi boost, loves it

  9. change the diff ratio first! before doing anything else, it will make a world of a difference

  11. yeah the BC's i wanted more roll control and rebound in them, couldnt be revalved. so went with a local option. plus inverted monotube = strong as f**k, i've already broken 2 BC's
  12. Decided I wanted to develop the handling of the car a lot more because I'm planning on doing some grip events also. I wanted coilovers that I could get with local support and built to my specs. Shockworks came to the party and offered everything I was after. I said goodbye to the faithful bc coils and got these today! Can't wait to put them in and see how they go
  13. bit of expression session muck around... i know these guys and drive with them often... always good fun!
  14. its actually far from perfect or easy to drive.. the car has so much rear grip that with even shitty china tyres it just wants to grip up all the time.. changing a few things atm along with alignment to help out. Also ditched the BC ER coils for some locally made SHOCKWORKS coilovers to be able to set it up the way i want, then it should be a dream to drive!
