yerp went to JB yesterday, it comes out 15/05/08. Makes me laugh as i called blockbuster a few weeks ago when i thought it was out and the girl told me it had sold out as it was a popular game... good liar. lol.

Yes, its like the throttle control I am giving is not being listened to by what the car is doing. The car simply just does not want to maintain a slide at the same angle for more then a qtr of a bend without it either spinning out or snapping the other way. Its just a load of s***. Racing is much much more fun and is all im giving the game a little bit of credit for. Ill tell u what. If these Polyphony nuggets were to apply the graphics of GT5 Prologue onto the car physics of Gran Turismo 1 and the sound effects/engine sound of Forza 2 that would be a Simulator out of this world!!! The way the car power oversteerd in Gran Turismo 1 was just SPOT ON. The burnouts & low speed car physics in that game were just incredibly perfect. Is there any way i can get GT1 working on a 40gig PS3???

Obviously though a GCG hi glow wont be of the same quality of a HKS turbo!?? I want something reliable as my engine is costing me alot of money... Ive heard nothing but excelent reliability from HKS turbos...

The 28-35 turbo was out of the question as i want a turbo that looks standard. Do not want to replace turbo in the case of an EPA. And I couldnt find a second hand 25-30 for sale... Do they also look standard in size like the 25-40??

Good afternoon, Well I have done a search and not totally satisfied with the info i have recieved on peoples experience with the 25-40 as alot of it is related to people running it on the RB20's or on RB25's with half the supporting mods, so thought id start my own thread about peoples experience running this turbo with all supporting mods. My motor is being rebuilt with forgies, gtr rods etc, 720cc injectors, pump, cooler, exhaust and the rest.. Will this turbo be laggy with a decent setup?? I will be running standard cams/heads with a microtech ecu. Ive read through threads that this turbo is a little laggy but its mainly from people who arnt running all supporting mods or using the turbo on an RB20.. Im hoping for atleast 240rwkws and decent boost coming in from 3000rpm and onwards... Any input on ur experience with this turbo on a well setup RB25 would be excellent. Thanks

I am welcoming anyone to my house to attempt drifting on Gran Turismo 5 using the G25 steering wheel setup on ANY car. With the controller it was 60-70% possible to probably link 2 corners if lucky... with the steering wheel completing a full corner sideways is possibly 20% achievable!! It is an absolute LOAD of SH**. I though it would be easier drifting with the steering wheel... WRONG. The racing is ok but the drifting is NOTHING like real life. The whip lash is HEAVILY HEAVILY exagerated. Its just very hard to hold the car in a slide without it swinging out the other way mid corner. Absolute load of crap. I now want another game.

Also explain why the car physics are better in forza 2...? i honestly wouldnt know cos i havnt played Forza yet, id like to know as the medium hi speed physic in GT5 seem pretty damn good from what iv seen so far

Different driving physics from trial to drift mode?? There is nothing different at all dude..? Only difference is in trial mode you complete laps and have a clock ticking to get the best times where as in drift mode u recieve points for ur slides.. there is no difference in car handling/physics what so ever. The handling is only different when u change the car physics mode from 'standard' to 'professional'.

Hey guys as per above, im confused as to how im supposed to install the software on the logitech CD you are given on the PS3??? When i put the CD in nothing exactly happens?? Am i meant to even install the software on that CD for it to run?? Im thinking the CD is maybe only for PC. Pleas help!

Fair enough, but are you only saying that because its easier to drift on Forza 2 and its very hard on GT5?? I've been watching vids on youtube and to me it looks like its pretty easy to control the car drifting on Forza... where as on GT5 especially using the controller only its VERY VERY hard to drift a whole bend netheralone link 2 corners... I've just recievd my G25 steering wheel so cant wait to do some proper sliding on GT5 tonight... But yeah the slow car physics may be better on Forza 2, but to me it seems the whip lash in high speed drifting is much more realistic in GT5.

Thats because Kaniva knows what he is talking about!! He's not a dork who is impressed by a car game just because of its excelent graphics. Im going to continue this review of the game once i recieve the G25 steering wheel. i bought it off ebay 4 days ago, so should have it today or tomoro. Cannot wait.

What about the HKS 2540...?? I can get one for $1200 in perfect condition... I have read up threads on this turbo and it gets bagged a fair bit... would it be good for my application?

that honestly brakes my heart... lol. the amount of fun i had on part 1 was scary... cant imagine how much fun it woulda been with the G25 wheel...
